      MJ has a perfect build for basketball and an unhealthy competitive drive...of course by 15 he knew exactly how to kill two birds with one stone; NBA would be the outlet for his competitive drive and GOD made it obvious with the build. Shmoolie rewarded MJ by letting him outlet the competitive drive into gambling.

    I think it’s good for MJ that someone won against him. It demonstrates that winning isn’t the only thing that’s important in the world to him. Valuing people that value you is by far greater than any win in a small gym.

      No sorry, MJ definitely didn't want dude to win. Arguable that he could've tried harder but it's kinda moot.
      He played like this many times that day and countless over the years. It's a statistical inevitability. And makes sense it was a former college player that got off a few lucky but skilled shots.
      They coulda played best of 100 & MJ won the rest.
      Still GOAT, changes nothing and even more impressive he didn't foul him.

    Michael lost cause he didnt have the dirty refs calling fouls for him. We can all agree by now that Steph Curry is the new GOAT. I would put MJ way under Bill Russel, Wilt Chamberlin, Larry Bird, kareem abdul jabbar, and Oscar Robinson to name a few.

The haters would be out with their torches and pitch forks. "Lebum is a disgrace.. no killer instinct.. Jordan would have took this mans money and then crushed his spirit!"

    How many 1-on-1's first to 3 would this man have played, that particular day up to that point, and how many in his life?
    Sure enough, he's lost some of those.
    Looking at this, it looks as though he did his best to try & stop Rogers from scoring. They were just 3 shots that were pretty hard to defend.
    Loved Wayans's reaction btw!😂😂😂

      @sandervandenberg977 MJ looked like he made an effort to contest those layups, but he let Rogers drive into the lane pretty easily 🤷‍♂️

    • @sandervandenberg977
      @sandervandenberg977 Год назад +2

      @@joshcarsonjc3Correct, but I think that probably had to do with the fact that Rogers was nr.20 on the list, I guess Mike was a little bit tired at that point, not giving it his all.
      He could've lost 3-0 on that fast driving lay-up which Mike did not contest. He didn't really guard Rogers when he took that jumpshot, that shot also just barely missed.
      Bottom line, could've gone either way, you win most, you lose now & then.
