Best reviews I've heard consistently from a person. Thank you for doing this. Just make sure to keep the spoilers out, not saying you had any in this video, but it drives me insane when I watch a review that tells me what happens.
Bad Ronald is freakin' CLASSIC. I remember seeing it in the 70s as a movie of the week when I was a kid. It is AWESOME. Great that they released it. Cool recommendations! :)
This guy seems so genuinely nice, I don't understand how all these people can post childish comments about his appearence or something about his life that they don't even know...
I wrote lyrics for the opening theme of Crawlspace. I tried to teach them to my co-worker Stacy. When I checked later, the only part she remembered was "yeah." But she was cool. The day Crawlspace came out on DVD was a good day for me, 'cause the mom of the guy I asked to tape it for me (before I even had cable) saw the VCR running and pressed "stop." "It was just running by ITSELF," she told my friend. So when I got it, the part where Richard chops the guy with the axe was not there.
Part 1 and Part 2 of this Must See Horror Films has certainly given me some more horror to watch and buy. I'm a fan of your videos, especially the horror ones. I have a collection of 238 horror dvds, and I'm hoping to go higher. There are a heap of horror dvds I have bought because you've mentioned them in your videos. Thanks :D
I watched Assault of the Sasquatch yesterday on Netflix, and I have to say that you and MJ were the true highlight of the film! Overall, I found the movie enjoyable enough, but it was the anticipation of your comic relief that kept me watching! Great job Shawn!
I have to say thanks to you. I've always considered myself a horror fan but since subscribing to you I've found so many titles I'd never heard of and have really enjoyed.
The only bad thing I have to say about your reviews were that you let some spoilers slip. Other than this, pure awesomeness buddy! :D Well done and muchly appreciated!!!! :)
Some of the films you showed about must see thank you so much. I love Horror films and some of the ones you suggested I never saw, and some I just bought through Amazon. Thank you. Mike
I've always LOVED Halloween 3:Season of The Witch . One of my fave. flicks since i was a kid . I saw Crawl Space for sale not to long ago . Mabe i should pick it up! Great video brother! Lottsa fun as always!
The "Special Edition" of Ginger Snaps is definitely worth getting(includes two commentary tracks with the director and writer). I think it's out of print. I bought a used copy from Amazon Marketplace.
@RoboRob9815 There's a superstitious rumour that says the people who worked on the film are cursed. Several cast members died within just a few years after the films release, some of the deaths being caused by relatively rare diseases and murder. There's more info on wikipedia under "Poltergeist (film series)" if your interested.
I wouldn´t say that Halloween did the same thing as Troll, but more like Creepshow. Every Halloween film should be another horror story, not just Michael Myers. Sad that they didn´t went on with this concept.
You really should check out the Dawn/Day of the dead that Arrow Films bought out. Great box sets, Dawn has 3 cuts including the Argento cut. I believe they are available from Europe only.
Must see horror movies: Evil Dead II, Saw, The Return of the Living Dead, The Devils Rejects, Shaun of the Dead, Tales From The Crypt: Demon Knight, Night of the Creeps, Hatchet.
Carpenter only meant for there to be only 2 Halloween movies after 3 fans missed Michael Myers as did the guy who bought the rights to the character to make Halloween 4.
Dude if anyone will know you will, when i was a bit younger i watched a film about students at a High school and they get like there eyes pulled out and replaced with some other eye thing, they use that to control them any idea?
movies being remade really gets me, because theyre ruining classics, theyre remaking Childs Play, i never wanted them to ruin that movie but thye are, how do you feel about remakes ?
OMG Crawlspace too ... you have great taste! I have never seen the film but the book is incredible, one of my all time favourites. I would love to see this. Ginger Snaps, yeah, awesome! Cronenberg's Fly, another great one. Dawn of the Dead, amazing! Haven't seen Day of the Dead. Go see Room 237, a documentary about The Shining. I reviewed it on my other channel. I'll have to subscribe from there as well.
Although Friday the 13th came to theatres first, The Weinsteins actually had the script and rights to The Burning a year before Friday the 13th came out. Check out the Tom Savani interview on the DVD. The Burning is the better film IMO.
@HorrorMovieReview73 although not as good as the first 2 hardly the worst in the series. Did you see Halloween ressurection? that makes H3 look like an academy award winner

the spider at the end of the original The Fly was (to me) one of the creepiest, scariest parts of that film.

I watched Assault of the Sasquatch yesterday on Netflix, and I have to say that you and MJ were the true highlight of the film! Overall, I found the movie enjoyable enough, but it was the anticipation of your comic relief that kept me watching! Great job Shawn!

I've always LOVED Halloween 3:Season of The Witch . One of my fave. flicks since i was a kid . I saw Crawl Space for sale not to long ago . Mabe i should pick it up! Great video brother! Lottsa fun as always!
Great list, both pt 1 + 2 were great, Thanks for your time!
Oh man I love Ginger Snaps, that's a classic.
The "Special Edition" of Ginger Snaps is definitely worth getting(includes two commentary tracks with the director and writer). I think it's out of print. I bought a used copy from Amazon Marketplace.
Chopping mall is awesome! I'm glad you like it Shawn... I know I recommended it to you a couple of years ago!

hey shawn, im just wondering do you have evil dead? i never heard you talk about it. thanks.
I wouldn´t say that Halloween did the same thing as Troll, but more like Creepshow. Every Halloween film should be another horror story, not just Michael Myers. Sad that they didn´t went on with this concept.
Sweetnes, Nice Video Shawn, I like alot of those movies you shown. I haven't seen "Bad Ronald". But I'm pretty intrigued.
Can you do a best Halloween/classic horror movies update for 2013 soon, before Halloween?
You really should check out the Dawn/Day of the dead that Arrow Films bought out. Great box sets, Dawn has 3 cuts including the Argento cut. I believe they are available from Europe only.
@TheSlasherVortex If you're a fan of Halloween 3 that's fine. I am honestly amazed that the film has any fans.
i agree with the 80s mall statement.. gremlins 2 has a cool 90s mall
thank you for new inspiration ..cause i dont know what to watch any longer :P
I went to that exhibit, it was actually pretty cool, the artist injects plastic into there bodies.
I'm a season of the witch fan to
@sonvello I'm guessing it's The Gate?
Must see horror movies:
Evil Dead II, Saw, The Return of the Living Dead, The Devils Rejects, Shaun of the Dead, Tales From The Crypt: Demon Knight, Night of the Creeps, Hatchet.
The burning was very good, saw it on tv the other night and it was great...
I think the main character from Kick Ass could play Bad Ronald if a remake were made.
Carpenter only meant for there to be only 2 Halloween movies after 3 fans missed Michael Myers as did the guy who bought the rights to the character to make Halloween 4.
@GeneratorNJ Season of the Witch is the title of a George Romero film too.
So out of all your movies, what is your favorite one?
Love the carol ann inpresion lol
a bucket of blood would be a cool film to remake. Seems like a house of wax type of story!
Yeesss!! I love The Burning !! No one that I know has even heard of that movie haha. But I loved it
The burning....friday the 13th meets A Nightmare on Elm Street, actually a pretty good movie.
The burning , most amazing horror camp movie ever
Dude if anyone will know you will, when i was a bit younger i watched a film about students at a High school and they get like there eyes pulled out and replaced with some other eye thing, they use that to control them any idea?
Assault of The Sasquatch was good. More funny than scary. lol
i love your movie collection. how long did it take you to pack all of those up lol
I got the "The Bad Seed" for Christmas based on this recommendation.
I love Halloween III: Season Of The Witch. I think it would have been much more interesting if they went with anthology series as orginaly planned

hey shawn do u think u could make a video showing all your tv on dvd dvds thanks
I liked that scene in donnie darko "Fuck ittttttt" ahhahaha.

Friday The 13th came out almost a year exactly before The Burning.
your the bast man keep up the videos, your dvd collection is GIGANTIC!
Although it doesn't say so on the packaging that edition of "The Burning" in uncut.
What about Halloween (1978) ? I mean...if the third one can get on the list, then the original MUST!!!! I am still an big fan of yours!
DUDE, Screw Blockbuster. I'm renting from you. Thanks for the video man.
The Fly has to be one of the most fucked up films i've ever seen. And that is why i absolutely loved it!
great video , make sure you keep them coming.
Psycho, The Evil Dead and Rosemary's Baby should have been included in my opinion...
listen dude. fuck all the haters. your reviews are always top notch. you have a ridiculous amount of movie knowledge and i hope you keep them coming.
i would LOVE to spend a week at your place lol!
Do you like any modern horror films? Just a random question
@NightfenceProduction Plus The Descent Part 2 was also pretty good.
Very good reviews! Keep up the good work!
Jason Alexander plays in The Burning
@coolduder Shawn are you gonna see saw 3D?
movies being remade really gets me, because theyre ruining classics, theyre remaking Childs Play, i never wanted them to ruin that movie but thye are, how do you feel about remakes ?
I Thought I heard you say you would not own a copy of Poltergeist in your home! What changed your mind?
besides the fact that Halloween 3 was not about michael myers, it had a pretty good plot
if it wasnt called Halloween, it wouldve been a hit
Have you seen 30 Days of Night? It's one of my favourites, one of the best vampire films in existence
"Dead End Drive-in" really isn't a horror movie...it's pretty much just an action movie.
Still a good movie tho
haha I saw Chopping mall years ago, i really liked it.
Let's have a Horror movie night! And end it with SCREAM!
