The r2 is a very competent system. You should include is descriptive that it is also very modular. If you have knives that are way to thick for the clamps, they sell 2 diffetent size magnetic tables, making the complete system extremely versatile. Very good video n results
Are you able to sharpen something very small such as a Victorinox Classic? The small one with a small blade, nail file, and scissors? That said, very useful video.
Do you zero the angle block on the R2 first? Did you check the angle again when flipping over to the other side to ensure it was evenly clamped? It was suggested elsewhere to recheck angle when switching to new stones?
Yyyyup. I've been asking him that ... hopefully he replies to us all soon. Bc he doesn't just switch between mfr stones ... sometimes, he'll even use different 3k stones by the SAME mfr. !? You know..??

Yes, you can, this sharpener is modular and the site has various attachments, including an attachment for sharpening scissors.

@@trumanhw I've seen him use 2 different 3k stones. I think one is diamond and the other is Ruby?
One is new, the other is old, it is 4 years old, it is practically bald, so I use it for polishing.
