Absolutely right! I was a kid in the 70s and this toy RULED (along with Micronauts and Shogun Warriors). I love how you guys refer to it as "He", like Evel's soul exists within it, like freaking Chucky,. 😅
Dudes! The Team America Super Stunt Dirtbike, also by Ideal, that came out about 5 years later improved on the Evil Knieval Stunt Cycle in every way. It had better shocks, knobby tires, and a better launcher. Even better was the Team America Marauder, which was an all black chopper version. I had all three, and The Marauder was the best. I always wanted a Megaforce version.
To see Gene Kelly as an action hero watch him in the 1948 version of The Three Musketeers. Great stuff.

The first toy i remember getting. I had the standard bike, but my friend had the chopper bike. I remember the envy 😂
That toy kind of makes a cameo in Toy Story 4 where he's a Quebecois Knievel named Duke Caboom voiced by Keanu Reeves.
