I opted to build mine as an artifact deck. It just so happens that many of the big artifact payoffs are 2/2s and all the For Mirrodin! equipments make 2/2s

will playing anthems affect duskana's buffing ability? let's say i have Mirari's Wake on board to give my creatures a static +1/+1

Nope! All she cares about is having base power and toughness 2/2! So anthems, counters, anything like that will still work!
