Abandoned : House full of stuff. She just disappeared

  • #abandoned house very close to home that I have driven past many many times and it is very well hidden from view but having driven past it recently there was something just not right for me this time so after driving past a few times to suss out the situation I decided I'd drive into the driveway to check it out and if anyone did live there I could just say I was looking for directions.
    YAY!!!
It has been abandoned and as you can see the whole house has collapsed on it's foundations perfectly which is odd in it's self. It looks like a female had been living in the house and was in the process of packing up, maybe after the foundations collapsed but then suddenly just disappeared? Why? What happened? It looks like the place has been abandoned for awhile because of the state of everything that was there so it would be interesting to know what happened to her. So many houses end up like this where it looks like who ever lived there just up and left. It makes no sense here as so much of her belonging looks like you take them and some of them looked personal. Oh well, I got to #explore it . It was cool. It was very hot exploring as it was right in the middle of summer here. I don't think it will take long for this place to deteriorate now it has collapsed onto the ground. It might be cool to go back sometime and see how it weathers after maybe a year. Will she ever come back and collect her belongings? I doubt it. Leave a comment and let me know your thoughts about what may have happened. Give me a thumbs up and thank you to all my new subscribers.
If anyone would like to donate to my paypal to help with costs that would be awesome and thank you in advance.

My guess is the woman or women that occupied the was in fear for their safety--thus the reason so many personal items were left behind. It reminded me of someone trying to get away from an abusive situation and never looking back. Sad vibes nonetheless

Very nice, long video. Love that you take your time and don’t skip over most of the house, architecture, etc. one RUclipsr on here finds some really beautiful places, big old long ago mansion type places, but his videos are almost always right at eight minutes long. Frustrating to watch as he skips soooo much. Your explores are nice, trying to get most all the detail for us to see. Thanks! Enjoyed it!

From the outside it looked terrible but the inside was intact. In its day it would have been a nice roomy house to live in. Nice old furniture, great bathroom and kitchen. Squatters may have come in after she left. It is sad to see this house in such a state. You should take the cell phones and skull rings, find out who she was. She may want her jewelry back. She must have left in a hurry. A small family lived there til it started to collapse. Amazing find. Take care in this heat. It is still cool here, just spring.

Hello from Washington State, USA! I just love your videos - the way you describe things and talk about the way the house is built, they way you show small details, like the chandelier and that cute cupboard in the kitchen.
This house made me sad. It was easy to discern quite a lot about the former tenants. Looked like a mother and two daughters (the drawings on the wall, the shoes, the "Eclipse" book, all the make-up and nail polish, Harry Potter, and, of course, that calendar).
I just wonder what made them up and leave all of their belongings... I hope everything is better in their lives now.

I have the exact same Santa Clause Christmas ornament from my childhood. My brother had a blue toy soldier one. I’m 50 so it was prob her mom’s. Prob young woman with some of her girlhood treasures (books) I think you’re right that she took the essentials and left when the floor collapsed. Hopefully she can return and get the rest but if she’s like my sister she will leave it for someone else to clean up. Nice explore ❤️

The diary had three Fridays marked with movies - Ghostbusters, BFG and The Purge 3 (plus more I can't read), all of which came out in July 2016, which is the month marked on the diary. This helps solve the mystery in absolutely no way but i wasted time investigating this so no one has to :P

They also look so sad to me with so much left behind that I have to wonder why they left in such a hurry. This one intrigues me because I see no signs of a man living in the home at all.One hopes that she and her child(ren) are safe and in a better living situation than this rotting house they were in. Its such a shame about all the awesome furniture plus electrics that more than likely still work to be left behind to get trashed or to rot away. Could be collected and donated to charity. I’m going to say 2 teenagers who lived with either grandmother or grandfather and the elder died. The girls who had horses and a cat had to move into foster or another family members home. The girls tried to take their stuff but there was no room for it where they had to live so the not important stuff had to stay. OR It’s very possible the house was condemned because of the weak support structure and not allowed back in to get the rest of their stuff

Too bad about the condition of that house. Kinda nice location and set-up they had there.

Hey Mike ! Nice video.Looks like that house was abandoned for awhile. It looks a lot bigger inside than outside.I saw some empty boxes, looked like she was going to pack some stuff . So much stuff left.I wonder what happened to the animals ?Maybe she left because the house was falling apart, but why didn't she take her stuff ?Thank you and be safe.

It’s amazing how stuff that looks so permanent that you just expect will be there and be there and be there will quickly become reclaimed by nature and a relatively short time. About 10 or 11 years ago here in the state, on one of the eight documentary centric channels, there was a video series and it worked at what would happen after people are extinct. It showed cities and things that you think would be absolutely on reclaimable being reclaimed rather quickly… I was pregnant with my son at the time and I couldn’t watch the whole series because it sent me off in a flood of tears but it still stuck with me how quickly everything was basically observed in the world seem to go on just like normal

I wasn't pregnant and it left me feeling the same way. It was something like What if all the people suddenly disappeared?

This is gold mine of personal things left behind. I love that about abandoned houses. At 11.00, I’m sure I have that same black bra, lol. I’d love to spend a couple of hours photographing this house.
