  • Abandoned house after the flood I got to Explore recently to show you out there what it is still like in so much of the town. houses empty and or abandoned. some floated off their supports and crashed into other houses. Not a pleasant video for me to make as terrible memories started coming back.
Anyway, thank you for watching. Thank you to all my loyal supporters who have been there with me on my journey. I'll be making a video soon about health updates so keep an eye out.

Looks like it would have been a nice place, I remember the flooding down there caused a lot of damage... We had 2 floods in Bundaberg 2011 and 2013, and it made a bloody mess. Yes, your work boots, Chinese riders, lol.

Reminds me of Grantham flood..I wasn't there but saw the destruction when helping my Dad recover what he could afterwards..the stench was unbelievable..

So good to see you out again Michael - do hope you're doing OK? Poor people, I wonder where they went after the devastation of their home. The saddest part for me was seeing the bunch of keys left behind. Thank you and look forward to the next explore. Gill 🇬🇧

It always makes me sad to see abandoned houses, regardless of how they ended up that way, but something like this is particularly tragic. I always find myself thinking about all of life's moments that took place there, laughter, tears, successes, failures and soon there will be nothing left to give any indication any of that happened. I hope whoever lived there survived the flood and is doing ok now.
It's nice to see you out and about, my friend. I hope you are doing ok. Thank you for posting this for us.

I liked the quirky layout and roomy kitchen. I hope they save any pattern glass. It's beautiful. Ought bring it back into style. The flood steals away the past. Praying for you.

The windows in that door are beautiful! The toilet room with grab bars indicate disabled or elderly resident. Do you know if they and their pet got out in time? I hope so 😢.

My heart aches every time I see a video like this one. I know how heartbreaking it is to lose everything. We lost everything in a fire when I was 13 due to a lightning strike.

Hi Michael, how are you feeling ???. Such a shame, when you see these houses that were completely under water it makes you realise just how powerful nature is. Thank you for sharing, much love. xx 🤗💞

There has been flooding in Nova Scotia. Two little children and two adults swept away in separate situations. Heartbreaking the loss of people, animals, and homes due to flooding. Just wondering, have most people stayed and rebuilt homes or did they leave and start over somewhere else? Thanks for the explore Michael 👍🏻😊

They were discussing moving Lismore to higher ground due to the regular high water level of the two or more big floods. I live close to the coast near Tweed Heads and have not heard anymore about it. That flannel flower glass in one of the doors was beautiful. 🦘🤔😊

That's what the local council did in Grantham, Queensland. They did a land swap and built new houses all on higher ground. The odd few refused to move though.
