Yeah he said he doesn’t feel comfortable on it yet but from what I’ve seen in this video it looks like he’s the most comfortable on this bike😂 it just fits him and his ride style well I think. If he gets really comfortable on it he’ll be a rocket lol

I have always been a 2 stroke kind of guy. With a four stroke bike they ride themselves and the 2 stroke you have to read the bike way more. But you seem to be loving the hell out of the kx 250 and I haven’t ridden any of the newer 2 strokes yet but hopefully a new kx 250 could fly my way. Thanks for all your build videos and keep riding like a mad man.

i’ve been a street bike dude for about 8-9 years now. i have 2 pit bikes and i found your channel 5 or so years ago when your buddy was hauling ass on the CBR and said “we selling the 450 for this” hahaha
now in 2022 i have 4 dirt bikes, 1 125, and 3 450s, i also still have my ninja 300 stunt bike, my street zx6r and my track zx6r. love that your still grinding out the builds man.
i’m currently re building a 2008 crf50 and just order a 2022 crf motor for it. we custom built a frame for it in mt dads fab shop.

As a 24 year owner of a 1998 KX250, now KX310, I would say go up one size on the main jet it sounds a bit flat on top. Also if your track riding 32:1 will give you the most power and protection. 40:1 for enduro. That is a great looking bike.

I personally Use more 3rd person clips than gopro on helmet so we can hear and see it more i enjoyed the kx250 video and bike its sweet and 250 power is so much fun for poeple that like something more fast than 125. You should buy new yami bike to do giveaway

It’s hard to keep any rattles out of 250 2 stroke, the higher frequency vibration seems to shake things loose. In my experience anyways

Looking good on it Ty! I think the rear sag needs set and the shock needs to be a little softer with stiffer forks. It has that stink bug look too it coming into corners 🤙🏼
Growing up racing in the 80s and 90s I am a two-stroke guy all the way but I will say that I have since bought a couple four strokes and it’s a lazy man’s bike. Perfect for my 51 year old body that doesn’t want to always have to be balls to wall and to make sure I’m in the power band and I don’t have to beat the shit out of the clutch
I’m a few year older than you with much of the same riding history also. I have a 99 KX500 that’s a beast, I had a 91 CR 500 for 9 years and a bunch of 4 strokes in between but the two strokes just seem to be the familiar route for me. This Thursday though I’m picking up a KTM 690 Enduro R for short trips around the valley though.

Try strapping the bike in the back of your truck by putting the straps tied to the foot pegs in stead of the bars. Just like how you had it in the truck but with the foot pegs it’s not as bad on the suspension and doesn’t scratch the bars
