Who else wash rice before cooking mmmh here in Africa we half cook it then wash it to remove milky water to clean water then we cook it till its cooked

Washing rice before cooking will remove dust and debris and help the grains to be more separated, rather than sticky. It also reduces the amount of arsenic and microplastics on it.
