I’ve always liked envelope filters/auto wahs. So funky and can be awesome with a hot fuzz for lead tone. The non reverb Bandmaster is a great amp for pedals. Your gear selection is telling. Like a connoisseur of fine wines.

Pretty interesting.
In the past I've used an effect like this for just a couple moments in a riff, jet to add some emphasis to a phrase, then its off as quickly as it was on.
Really pretty useful in small amounts.
For myself, I kind of fall down in the Funk department..........LOL
I'll keep trying though
