  • Healing songs are a newer style of singing from the Native American Church (or Peyote Church) without the accompaniment of the peyote water-drum or gourd-rattle and are meant to facilitate mediation and prayer and provide comfort and peace for the singers and listeners. This recording features noted Navajo (Dine') peyote singer Jimmy Knight Jr. in this soothing collection of Navajo healing songs in the Native American Church tradition.

I am not Navajo or any kind of Native American, but there is something special about these songs. It's like....I don't know. It's just this very pleasant special feeling, there is just something about them. I don't even know what they are saying but I feel like I am getting the message of them. I've been listening to songs like this for many years and they still give me that same special pleasant feeling. There something divine in these songs, I don't know what it is, But I do know that God works in mysterious ways. Have a nice day! 🙏🏼☀️

Listening to this lifts my spirit. My mom died at the beginning of year. As she was laying in hospital bed, I put phone on her chest. Hoping she hears this and know she was ok. I did same when she was alive and couldn't sleep. Then one day at hospital she responded. We were told to go and let doctor's check her. Before I left I prayed and she tried told her I love you mom. She never closed her eyes.

Yesterday was the day my mom passed . It was like silence. Each of my family members didn't call or text each other. We mourned alone. We finally were able to talk in the evening. Short conversation, and that was it. And today started with text. So the music helped me. I prayed and slept most of the day. Thank god for getting sick thru the holidays. And I got bronchitis right now. So I am just home. I am ok with that. Gave me lots of time to think. That is good for me. Listening to the music was all I could do. Got thru day 😪 and 🙏. Second year, I do not know.

      predecessors.
I wonder if I might write songs about displacement of Germanic tribes, pagan rituals connected to pantheon of Norse gods. Ughh, I do not feel passionate enough about human spirits' ramblings. if there is to be a future for the human species, spirituality requires streamlining.

... Yeh... this happened to me, too :) ... I've also visited the tribe (we are all one tribe in essence) during dream-time. They dont say anything (with words), they smile & accept me (acceptance is pure love and beyond words): I think this is telepathy ..
I sit with them.. and we are together (we are all just together: safe in the tribe): you see, my brothers and sisters?
scientists call whats happening here "tonal technologies", the white brothers are having (what they call "anomalies") at this ranch (it is navajo land, i think)...when they talked to an elder (larry cesspooch) he say...:
"if it's something we should (not) touch or tap into... your instruments, your machinery will malfunction.. and just take that as a sign that ...it's not good.. just leave it at that"
but the white brothers dont listen to elders... they got to know... they got to drill, they got to study, they got to find out. the answers are inside us, not outside us. peace. thanks for reading.

I have lived the Navajo people and ways, been to many reserves in New Mexico Specifically, and other States in general. I have many Navajo ceriminial items, a beautiful hand drawn, totally life like picture of a Navajo Shaman, it is alive, it was drawn in 1903, he was very old, bug his Spirit is with me, my heart is with him, he is my guide. I do not like the reserves, it is your land, soon I believe the people will have it back. All the Love, Light and Energy I can send, this world needs healing and it is coming. I will see you, in the "Beauty to come", all things will be restored by this Great Nation.

I am Navajo and it is very healing for us. Maybe what you’re feeling is opening a way to release pain and hurt from within you. Meditate with these songs and just speak that all things that do not serve your highest and best good can leave as you bless it and thank it for the lessons it has taught you. Breathe as you do this and let it go. Blessings. 🙏🏼

For the price of a hamburger or one single small lunch each month you can listen "commercial-free".
It's been a great blessing and joy to me for a couple of years now and I've never regretted one penny of what is spent. The cost of a single good burger.
Hours of uninterrupted videos of every sort imaginable. Study, comedy, music, science, art, and everything else= commercial free.
