I really love your yoga, it's so powerful and soft ! There is something more, maybe it is because you work with the moon, the earth, your heart and all the living, that's what I feel ! So thank you so much Allison !!! (sorry if my English is not very sure, I speak in French !)
What a lovely compliment! I’m honored. 🙏🩷 Feel free to comment in whatever language is most comfortable for you. I love languages and I’m happy to translate! ✨
Omg, I absolutely loved this practice. I decided to try someone different than my regular and I’m glad I did! You had some really nice positions that I haven’t tried before. Thank you so much!

this was magical... i mean, I followed you one full moon ago, i've found your channel and do the cycle moon practices with you and i didn't know about the weekly classes, it was truly amazing for me, thank you thank you thank you! 💖
I've just received a notification for this sample class Alison, which I've saved and will look forward to doing tomorrow ☺️ What a lovely bonus gift. Thank you! I'm sure I will love it as much as your regular moon cycle and wheel of the year slow flows, which I always look forward to and enjoy. Blessings and gratitude 🧡🙏🏼🌿
Thank you so much for this practice . It was much needed.. I took some time to adjust onto my mat... But once the flow began it all made sense. Namaskar 😊
Yes! I love this question. I started my yoga journey by studying ashtanga. “Samasthiti” is a command given (usually in ashtanga) during Tadasana. It means “equal standing” and is used as a queue to bring awareness back to the breath and moment. I also use it as if it say “begin again” - like if we’re taking a brief pause between sun salutations, or pausing between two sides of the same sequence. :) Here is an excerpt from a Yoga Journal article that says something similar: “Samasthiti (Equal Standing) is a command to attention, to stand in balanced stillness. It is the practice of standing with equal, steady, and still attention. Tadasana (Mountain Pose) is the posture that invokes Samasthiti. These poses are not different. They are the same.”
@@moonmedicineyoga Thank you for the explanation. I love to expand my knowledge with little nuggets of info. I'm still have much to learn, all part of my journey. 💙
Great question! Try searching youtube for restorative or yin yoga classes for the legs or even (gentle) yoga stretches for the legs, or whatever body part feels tight. Take it slow and ease in. Being a yoga beginner is amazing! Yoga teaches us to embrace where we are so don't worry too much about "goals". Enjoy your practice as much as possible. It will keep you coming back which is the best thing. Change, flexibility, etc. will come! Thank for being here!

Do you have any tips on gaining flexibility as a beginner, esp in the legs?

Why did you not sneeze😅?
Even though I have a leg injury from a skateboarding 🛹 accident, I didn't let it hinder my progress
