Love this guys voice he put everything to make Dean Domino to stand out. Like Dog And God talking with them it was as though they were truly alive. And who knows hopefully we might see Dean again if Fallout New Vegas 2 lets how he begin again.
@@joshuaaurelio4430 Maybe. We did see that nuka cola addict from Fallout 3 appear in 4, maybe we'll a New Vegas character or two in... the next Obsidian game if they make one.
Dean is a bastard and someone being happier than you is a horrible motive for hatred. But at the same time, that kind of anger and hate is not beyond my understanding. To anyone else who feels that kind of hate all I can say move on and find something else. You will not find happiness in making people miserable.
Valid!! That's what's great about this dlc and dean's good ending!! He needed to learn that the hard part wasn't the heist, wasn't his jealous rage against Sinclair, wasn't even beating Elijah in the end. The hardest part was letting go. After he learns that, he chooses to begin again. That's why letting him live is the good ending. God, I love this game so much.
New Vegas has a gift for making the most vile people so goddamn charming. And giving them humanity. Like he probably deserves it as much as Elijah, but the fact that by the end though he tries to rationalise it as just good business he does see us as a friend, couldn't imagine anything but saving him. Maybe that says more about players than it does Dean himself. Also the fact he gives actually good advice about surviving the situation vs, God, who I love, spends 15 minutes on loop saying "I can't believe the idiot swallowed his collar. Almost free, then the idiot screws it all up. That PIPboy on your arm, maybe I'll rip it off and wear it around my neck."
2:58 "If they survive the Cloud, the Ghost People, the traps, then greed takes over, and they start sizing each other up for funeral suits." -Dean Domino
@@PolishGod1234 it's an RPG lmao, why are you acting like this game is some hardcore scrub filter? an endless punching marathon that wears down your patience and your left mouse button is not hard, it's just a slog.
To be honest this bombed seat conersation felt awkward like falling in a vat of redundancy. Either he got blinded by the radiation or hes going feral so he doesnt spot the collar on the neck.
even if he was aware of the collars being linked at that time, he doesn't know that you do, any bit of power that he could gain over you was significant to him, even just briefly having the upper hand in dialogue
Even though Domino is a bastard, it's kind of heartwarming that he sounds genuinely happy to see you if you hadn't pissed him off somehow.
I double crossed everyone and got away with the gold Scott free 😂

It’d be cool. But I believe Dean’s VA passed away a few years ago
@@joshuaaurelio4430 He did. His name was Barry Dennen, and unfortunately, he did pass away some time ago.

The first time I heard Dean trying to talk to Christine, I just about lost it. Bro’s basically talking to himself lol
He is such a petty asshole, I love him.

Thank you v much for this
I feel like he calls his collar a necktie because he's too proud/humiliated to call it a collar
Thanks for this.

Dead Money is both, in my opinion, the most interesting dlc and the least enjoyable gameplay wise. The characters and story make up for it though.
loansome road was way worse gameplay wise almost a straight line of high hp enemies, without even any gimmicks

this guy was a complete delight to listen to. almost made it worth putting up with the abysmal gameplay of the dlc.

At the time of the conversation, Dean wasn't aware of the fact that the bomb collars were linked.

Who's more ass Domino or Elijah?
Domino is at least an oddly charming asshole, Elijah's just some old punchable guy
