- While finishing up some underwater metal detecting at the beach. I was asked by a group of people if I could find a ring. Francesco had lost his wedding band about 30 feet from the shore in the water. I told them I would come back the next day and find it and I did. Lots or rings and jewelry pulled up in this one. This video contains the day before and the next days ring return so there is some parts not in order. I hope you enjoy!

Congratulations on finding that ring for that kid nice going, what a guy! That girl was an absolute knockout, too bad you couldn’t get a better shot of her; she was stunning! What about that fish? What kind of fish was that? What was it doing? Did it come to you more than once? Was it being threatening?
Thank you, he was very happy I could find and return the ring to him. Yes the women here are amazing. If you watch some of my other videos you will see many of the beautiful women that come here. That fish is a Jack. They are supper crazy when feeding. I had one bite my butt going after the smaller fish that swim around me. It just scare the crap out of me. The bigger fish bring in the bigger prey like sharks, so you have to start watching out for that and just be cautious.

Yeah I am looking into some good water shoes that I can wear. Most fall apart in the first day or just load up with sand.
I just got back from a South Beach hunt. I got 5 rings and none of them where gold. The bottom there is absolutely horrible being so soft. When was that beach renourished last?
It's the sand moving in. Some spots have cuts on them but they are always changing. Got a bunch of rings today and 2 are gold
Is that a White's pi machine you're using in the water. My buddy and I have a few of these machines. We love them, older machines but man they are bulletproof and go deep

Can you metal detect underwater at all florida beaches?
No there are some places that have leased areas for treasure wreck sites. Treasure coast is mostly where these are at. You need to check before you enter around there. And no to Federal parks and check with state parks as some state parks might let you. Most public beaches you should be good to go but always ask first
What head do you have on your minelab for the water.
I have the Grey Ghost for the Minelab but I usually use my Whites PI metal detector when I am in the water.
When you water hunt, do you walk parallel to the beach or go back & forth, shallow to deep ?
I go parallel till I find a spot where I want to go back and forth. With the sand always shifting, it's mostly hunting for the good spots. It also depends on what I am looking for. Recent drops or old drops. I watch for areas with people wearing lots of gold. I get into the water and the beach tells me what to do 😉
Thanks for the tip. I've been detecting for over 40 years but only get to the beach once a year ( live in Midwest) and always wondered which way might be more efficient. Love your videos. Your scenery is always great

How many hours was this hunt?
This one was over two days. The main hunt was probably 6 hours and then when I came back for the ring recovery was 4? I mixed up the two days into one video because the ring recovery day didn't have much finds.most of my hunts are 6 to 10 hours give or take a few hours
