You can share the cat alog and just create smart previews, which should all fit on a single hard drive or external SSD (that's what I do, so I have my full catalog with me when I travel, although I may not have all of the original RAWs though as some are stored on my desktop, but some are stored on the same external SSD that has my catalog, mainly current project's I'm working on). But it can be done and I actually am able to easily share the catalog between two computers effortlessly.

I love the cloud version of Lightroom. I moved from LrC and I am very happy. The only things I miss are map module, virtual copies (versions in Lr are not the same) and direct support for external plugins. I have to use Ps as an intermediate step to open Topaz apps. I also noticed that on my Mac Lightroom cloud is clearly faster than LrC.

Very clear tutorial thank you Anthony and good timing as I opened my Lightroom on my iPad the other day only to watch all my photos being erased and put into the trash bin. 😱, still haven't recovered.

Great video, thanks. Can you explain (or tell me how to fix) the fact that there is no colour calibration when using a mask!?

Did I miss it??? How do you get edited photos into your LRC Library. Maybe I'm confused - thought all the edits were in a separate file?

Anthony, Sort of misleading here. You were using the Local feature and not the Cloud Sync. Even though they offer the same features. Maybe you should do a video on using the Lightroom Cloud (Sync). Cheers!

I thought I missed the key part of this video (cloud and syncing) too. After watching for 20 mins.. he was just using the local drive. 20 mins of my time wasted.

I hate the CLOUD. I refuse to use it.

The naming of LRC and LR was a big mistake. So many times I have thought I was going to a video about LR and I ended up with a video about LR. What?
In short Adobe’s bean counters messed up.
    Just like Coke.
Correct this stupid mistake Adobe. It’s never too large.

I've been in the cloud version for quite a while. This is very helpful. Hoping to see more cloud tips. Thank you!
