    In 1964 or 65 can't remember I bought a brand new Honda 50cc trail bike and I put a chrome vacuum cleaner pipe replacement for the muffler . Didn't last long , $10 fine. Fun little bike. I once chasted a bear down the road with it never considering that the bear might stop.

    I installed a gear shift indicator on my CT125 for 90 bucks. Enjoy the ride. You meet the nicest people on a HONDA

      I have one on mine now, got it on Amazon for 1/2 price because it said used. It was new but I think the person who returned it, didn’t know how to install it

    Hi Frank , glad to see you on a CT125. I bought mine last may and no other bike puts a bigger smile on my face . I’m in Nova Scotia Canada and my bike shifts down . I use it for driving on trails , and occasionally driving on back roads. I had a 1979 CT90 with the dual range transmission., it did come in handy at times. Looking forward to more of your videos on the Trail 125

      Hi David, I had a CT110 that had the high and low and yea it was handy.
      Yea I noticed that some other countries the bike shifts down instead of up like mine.
      Thanks for watchin

    All the Honda 125's are so cool. Have a blue 21 monkey and dream of having a grom sp, a supercub and a trail 125. You see so much more tooling around at a leisurely pace.

    I own a 2023 ct125 I have no issues with it. I love it. I see people complain about top speed or it’s not a dual sport bike. Well it’s not a dual sport. It’s a fun little around town and dirt roads maybe light off road fun. I don’t ride mine any faster than 40ish. Great gas mileage. Lots of after market racks you can add. Good fun bike.

    The reason the 2022 did not have a cartridge style oil filter is that it contains a centrifical filter. Centrifical filtration is very common and heavy industry. Yours contains both the cartridge type and retains the centrifical filtration. Both are both on your maintenance schedule. A very good argument can be made that the cartridge filter is a marketing ploy for those that do not understand centrifuge. I believe they compliment each other particularly if one is neglected.

    I wished they had kept the hi/low gearbox and the extra fuel tank, if it had that with the 125 it would justify the price for me, I do like the style though.

    That bike looks easy to ride like my TRX250EX, which has the automatic clutch system and a 5 speed. You should enjoy excellent fuel mileage also! Got out today with the CRF300L. Only have 200 miles on it but I am having alot of fun! Enjoy the weather! God Bless.

    I just like listening to the sound of the motor on mine. It just hums along. I recommend you check out the ADV 150/160 scooter as the next addition to your stable. They are a real blast and you can actually hit 60-65 mph! As I get older, I'm really starting to appreciate the small bore market. They are so much fun. However, having said that, if I won megabucks I would have to go out and buy me a Goldwing for the long haul.

    I’ve been waiting for the Super Cub 125 to come to Canada but once again not this year so I guess I’ll pick up one of these. They only come in Red here as well.
    Probably the CT125 will be more versatile. Cheers. 🙏

    I chuckled when you said you were expecting the MVD to be super busy😂 This isn't Tucson. But seriously, the wait time has dropped significantly since so much can be done online or preplanned appointment times.

    Hi Woodzman. Completely off topic but since I don't know where you're staying I'd like to say that I have two RV spots on my property in Tucson. Good amount of room available plus a 10 x 12 shed with options to add a shed if desired. Anyway, just throwing that out there. If you'd like to know more we can talk when I'm back in May and we're out riding.

    I'm trying to decide between one of these or a Honda Monkey. It's going to be used by my wife on smooth gravel/dirt paths only. Personally, I want a Monkey for my own entertainment, but I think the Hunter Cub might be better suited for her. There's a couple of used ones nearby that are a good deal right now. Just have to make up my mind.

    Hi Frank, I’m enjoying the videos of your CT125. Unless you plan on hill climbing with it, I hear some people put a 15 tooth sprocket on them. I’d imagine it would run easier for you on the highways? Thanks Don

    Good review, I have one on order . looking forward to the mods you do to it . On another video i watched the guy showed that if you don't down shift when you stop . You just click one more up shift and you go back to neutral . Also I am wondering about the big bore kits ? They changed the stroke and compression on the 2023 and 24 models . I am wondering if you would need a different kit from what most people are showing . Apparently the 147 cc kit makes a big difference in hill climbing power . Thanks

    • @WOODZMAN
      @WOODZMAN  5 месяцев назад +1

      The shifting on the U.S model does not do that, one more click to go back in to neutral.
      I have heard of people going the big bore but I also hear they run hotter

    Hello Frank. I have been trying to follow up why you moved to Arizona. My wife and I have been debating rather to move to Arizona or to the Ozarks ... Nw Arkansas or Missouri. Colorado has to go. Just curious. Im enjoying your 125. Smallest I have is the Wr250r.

    • @WOODZMAN
      @WOODZMAN  5 месяцев назад +1

      The Ozarks is nice, I liked there for 55 years. It was just time for a change and AZ has warm weather. That was my main reason for moving. It’s warm and not so humid like Missouri

    • @WOODZMAN
      @WOODZMAN  6 месяцев назад +1

      Well you register it once but you have to renew the plates every year. I don’t remember the fees. My sales tax and all was $300

    Is there an accessory wire at the handlebars of your Trail 125, ready to go for your phone charger, or whatever you’re installing?
    I was under the seat of my 300l Rally, and I discovered another accessory plug that isn’t being used for anything. Someone told me that there is an adapter that fits this plug, so that you can use it as a secondary accessory lead. But when you look it up, it’s not under 300l, but you can find it for either a Trail 125 or a Monkey. Are you familiar with the adapter that they are talking about?

    • @WOODZMAN
      @WOODZMAN  6 месяцев назад +1

      I know the one you’re taking about on the 300L. On the Trail 125 I didn’t look because I wanted my to be connected directly to the battery
