Excited to have Lucy there. That 70.3 World Championship was one of the great performances - led from gun to tape, a tough way to win. She’ll open the race up. I hope she has enough depth of run training to have a shot.
I wish her a strong race, will do good to have her out there and Dani and Laura chasing her down on the bike and Anne on the run. It sort of always feels like she is trying to open up but not really wanting or daring to.
I think Ironman has a real problem on their hands with PTO races. As a pro.. I can't imagine how you justify racing ironman vs PTO when even a low placing at PTO races pays better than winning Ironmans..
@@applenutt1 I suspect for people like Lucy and Lionel who have huge online followings, sponsors care very little what race they do as long as they are getting IG posts and youtube vids out, and that those hit the proper numbers but thats just my guess
Way da go Virgo LCB, told you just for shit and giggles to partake in these events, unfortunately Dani R is just on point right now, did you see her cephalic vines "protruding" just at rest when being interviewed by Bobbie B? 1st Dani R, next finishers will be: Laura Phillip, Anna Haug, LCB, Daniela Bleymehl, and Sara True (not necessarily in that order) all others participating for: 7th thru 52nd placings. GG! Good job Bobbie in not entertaining the idea of LCB trying out for Paris 2024. Is does not have the ITU speed at all, and cannot muster it up in 21 months, she has not even read the British qualifying requirements that she has had in her possession for a while now. and besides LCB Legacy awaits at Kona with high percentage of possible wins at Kona coming between 2023 thru 2026 (LCB will be 33) already on the downside of excelling at the Top level. Although , Virgos are rather stubborn. GG!

The heat in Dallas was real. Those ladies looked spent. So happy for Lucy. Can't wait for Kona.
Good interview Bob, much thanks!
Thanks Barry
Amazing! See you next week Bob! 🙏🏻🙌🏻
Must be getting bored of telling this injury story! Hoping for success for you Lucy 💪🏻💪🏻
So glad to see you, Bob. I never want to have that dream again, the last three years.
So inspirational ❤
Love the way Lucy races.
I am looking forward to both days of racing! Even the agegroupers from Germany will show a good action

Something is going to give. Either pto will go broke or ironman will have to step up.
Exactly, if PTO create 2 more races a year, 1 grand final - big prize money, some pros is gonna skip Kona.
Sponsors pAy more for Ironman finishes. Sponsors pay the pro lifestyle.

@@Kevgti5 Nope. Having worked with sponsors in the past, the big paydays are at Kona. Sponsors want to market the Kona champs.
Lionel needs to push himself - to build up new confidence - and thats exactly what he‘s doing.
Poor Lucy.
Better not pull another Andreas raelert
