I saw them in 92 on Mission Beach and I can’t remember for the life of me the band that opened for them. If I heard the name I’d know. I have photos of that show. It was killer. Right after Souls at Zero came out! It was a small show and my 14 YO self was right up there taking 35mm photos of the show. Killer!!!!
Saw them around this time in Derby UK, they were supposed to be supporting Pitchshifter, but Pitchshifter had their equipment stolen, so it was Neurosis for the entire gig. They had technical issues then as well, if memory serves me right the vocalist got an electric shock. However, they did not disappoint.
Anybody remember the show at the Axiom where they set up like 4 or 5 sets of drums(mostly just pairs of snares/toms not full kits) and a bunch of people from other bands joined them on stage? My memory sux so I don’t remember who all was up there or what song they were playing but the big group drum solo went on forever. It was amazing. Pretty sure it was after Souls at Zero came out.
I totally remember that. Going through my storage space and I distinctly remember this show. I’m trying to remember the opener with was so unlily to open for them. I have photos, I’m presently digging for. Thanks for the reminder!!!! The drum solo was crazy!!!
itchykorean: I hope you realize how much us 90's kids appreciate this.

I was there! Geeeez, that was the LOUDEST show I had ever been to. My clothes were vibrating and every other song the breakers kept being blown.
How did it feel to see Neurosis in their prime?
I was here, too! Thought the show was going to get canceled bc they kept overloading the breaker box.
this is huge glad I discovered it
I should create a playlist with them in it. If one day I'm afflicted by Alzheimer, it will be like discovering them all over again, day after day.
I think that's not how Alzheimer works...
Man there music has evolved....from the punk to this...there newer stuff is so good it's unbelievable

It was with Strung Out! I can’t find the date or set-list but it wasn’t a band that fit with them.
I saw them in Dallas at Trees sometime around then. Life changing show
