I think this is a little backward... RYB is actually the subtractive model that is used by artists as they have been incorrectly taught to do so, due to the "red" and "blue" in RYB actually referring to magenta and cyan. This is why colours mixed with CMY colours in pigments (and in printing inks) are more vibrant than when using colours from the RYB model. The model used on Procreate is in fact RGB, not RYB as you have stated, which makes sense because RGB is the additive colour model. It helps to remember that the subtractive and additive models are literal inversions of each other. On a six-colour wheel, after removing CMY you get RGB and vice versa.
