You should definitely invest in more Adventures. I enjoyed this review! I think the line about the art being kiddy misses the point of how good the storytelling and line weights are. This isn't coloring book art at all.
This art is great, all of the emotion in the characters jumps off the page. The look on J'onn's face at 13:42 as he has to put Psycho-Pirate into a stupor is both confused and pained. Its a lot of emotion in a one-shot comic that is a sad conclusion.
I'm impressed with this comic and am going to read more issues. Thanks for the video.

Justice League #40 from 1990 is the Despero story that ends the sort of the same way. One of my favourites.
