You kinda covered the most oldschool drivetrain option lol
I would have covered transverse options a lot more with suspension designs (springless designs especially here) and trammel gears.
Would have also explained torque vectoring as a concept, dont think most people know why you were referring to needing clutches

if you skipped near the end I ended up going for the direct drive. And about the torque vectoring, this video isn't about handling and I might make a video about it soon

@@Deniz69567 Yeah, but you hardly covered any variations or suspension designs with it.
And I would think most people who make a vehicle do want decent handling in some form, especially as clutch torque vectoring is super easy to set up and really powerful.
I would treat it as standard tech, tho I wouldnt mention it at the start to not overwhelm people

@@keinanderer9930 There are plenty tutorials out there on double wishbone already. It's not like we need another one.

@@Astro_Dog777 Its not all just double wishbone, thats the last thing Id suggest as its completely pointless in sm
Most of our people that do racing have developed either piston spring hybrid stuff or completely spring free stuff with solid axles and various swingarms
They also run much more advanced drivetrains in general with handling tech (torque vectoring via clutches) that deniz didnt showcase at all, even tho we used these for years at this point
Deniz here made a "2024" tutorial covering tech from 2018 basically with only a few extra bits that are new, thats why I was suggesting this (and the extra stuff)

@@keinanderer9930 I withdraw my argument as I don't understand a word you said other then double wishbone.

I believe the gas engine works better for the clutch.

The gas engine has more torque so it can hold and transfer more power than the electric engine.

Your V8 has way too much torque! any car it is built into will go twisting up more than Dom's car in F&F.
