@@KeepYourDaydream we live right down the street from Salt River, Power & McDowell. We love it here so much, we took our motorhome to Bulldog Canyon to boondock a few weeks ago! Less than 10 miles from home but a whole new experience! Arizona is beautiful! In the summer we go up to Woods Canyon Lake and out to Big Lake.....always boondocking! ❤️
Everything is packed in AZ since covid. Woods canyon lake looked like a CA beach with mariachi music playing last time we went.. Completely ruined everything we loved about it
Caleb: “Love you guys”. Does my heart good. Rare to see or hear these days. Good job Marc and Trish. Great start to the season. Giving us good ideas of places to visit especially for those of us who don’t have an RV.
Arizona is very beautiful. After RVing for 1.5 years, we came back to Phoenix to put down roots. There's so much we haven't seen. You HAVE to tube down the Salt River, it is so much fun!
A lot of my family is from Arizona. In fact, my grandfather helped carve and build the road into Salt River Canyon. Funny story, the reason why my grandfather joined the Navy, during WWII, was because the USS Arizona was bombed. He absolutely loved Arizona. Once I get going next year, with my airstream and truck, I will go do the paddle boarding. Thanks you all for showing the beauty of my home state of Arizona.
Have been living in AZ for almost 3 years now. I am amazed at the people that can not see the beauty in the desert. Especially in the spring when things are all blooming.
We are from Colorado, but we were just inAZ. I made a point of driving from Gilbert to Grand Canyon on 89a based on your previous video. It was gorgeous. We continued up to Tusayan. There we boondocked in our Prius for an early morning into the Grand Canyon. It was a magical trip. Thanks to you. I also have to say my adult daughter took me floating down the Salt for Mother’s Day a few years back. I can’t wait to take her on a paddle board. Thanks for these Az tips.
Thank you guys so much for this video! I am an Arizona girl living out east and LOVE my home state. As a teen I spent many happy times on the Salt tubbing. When people hear Arizona they think dry, hot nothing to do, but you have shown them some of the best there is! Thanks! Looking forward to the next video. ❤️
I did that in 1980 with 5 semi truck tire tubes tied together. In the center of the tubes we had a plat form for the car cd stereo, battery and a pony keg of beer. to cool your doing it in 2021. brings back so much in my mind.
that sure brought back fond memories of tubing down the Salt River back in the '60's, and your driving down Power Road to the river with Red Mountain in the back ground. We lived in t he desert for several years, ah fond memories! Thx.
So cool to have that so close. That's why we love our home state. Yosemite, day trip. Sierra Mt., day trip. beach, day trips. (And amazing Mexican food 😉) So blessed. Love our AZ neighbors as well.
I am a avid hiker and photographer. I know that river well. The horses are my specialty. You were lucky to get there before the tubers. It can be mean to you too. The under currents can be dangerous. Glad you had a good time. My paddle board loves Siguaro lake. Try Young Arizona. Fun little town.
Headed to Arizona Grand Canyon and Sedona for a trip I have dreamed of since I was a kid....I'm 63 Years. Travelling with my RV and My beagle Ivy. Thank you for all your knowledge and for sharing. I ve taken many of your tips and have implemented them.
We just recently took 89A from Flagstaff to Sedona (so beautiful) when we flew out to Phoenix, Arizona late December last year. It was a quick 4 day trip but so worth it to see Flagstaff, the Grand Canyon and Sedona. We'll be back again for sure.
So we just got back from our first trip in our new Grand Design TT. And while walking thru the pool area I overheard some guys complaining about all the keys they had to have when his wife chimes in with he comment “ Well Mark from KYD says to get the keypad for the front door” You guys are EVERYWHERE 👍👍👍. BTW it was Fort Wilderness in Orlando
Lol. She's right! ;) I wish the Airstream could have one of those. I hate keys. And a subscriber (sam) just sent me keyless latches for my water. I'll be putting those on before we take off east.
OMG I love seeing you in my neighborhood! I watch you guys all the time. Thank you for all of your creativity, education, sharing, and everything you do! I know it takes a LOT of time. We do appreciate it.
We've been watching and learning for a year and finally took delivery of our 1st rig. Class A 2015 Fleetwood Expedition 38K. Arizona is on our list to come and explore. Thank you for all you do and share with us.
I grew up there. I can't believe how much it changed, but not really though as it's been awhile. Usery Pass Rd and Recker Rd was my playground in the 70-80s, as with the rest of Arizona.
The first time I was ever in Arizona was a summer during college for a mission trip. My boyfriend (now husband of 30 years) was there also, and when we saw the Grand Canyon foe the first time, we were speechless. What wonder! We took our 3 kids out there a few years ago so they could experience it too. Also went hot air ballooning in Sedona. So great! We live on the east coast so it’s hard to make it over there much, but we do plan on it in a year or two!!! Thanks for all you do!
We haven't been to the salt river in about 15 years, and the last time we were at west fork, our daughter was on our back and about a year old, she's now 10. It might be time to get back out there. Thanks for the tour of our beautiful AZ.
Enjoyed watching you guys hike West Fork in Oak Creek Canyon. My wife and I have been going there since 1982 when I was attending NAU in Flagstaff. We are now retired living in Central Oregon and recently bought an Airstream Classic ourselves. In the 80's you had to park on the side of the road to walk West Fork as they did not have a public parking area and few people new about it. I am surprised you did not mention the old burnt down lodge that is at the entrance of West Fork or the swimming pool that was fed by the sandstone cliffs there? We still have pictures of me climbing the old apple trees there to get my wife an apple, but that was 40 years ago and everything was free at the time. Memories. Cheers
Since we were just in your backyard for NAU 2021 graduation and had the best dinner at Oak Creek brewery.... these are happy memories!!!! Even Californians can LOVE Oak Creek and Sedona!!!
Thank you for doing all the work so others can go play! God Bless all your future journeys! I’m sure God is smiling thinking they are displaying all my handy work!!!
Where you guys went paddle boarding is my stomping grounds! What a treat! Note: There is WAY more to do in that area than sporting it down the river. Way more! I live ~3 miles south of Usery mountain and the whole area from the Salt River to Usery park to Apache Trail (towards Canyon Lake) is endless fun. ...but don't tell everyone. It's our secret. ;)
We are setting our alarms for midnight 6 months in advance for Usery and McDowell next year. We love the desert hikes and hope to bring my sons mountain bike down along with Kayaks
I have had the opportunity to visit many different locations in AZ, the state is so awesome. I have been a travel nurse working on the Navajo Reservation for past three years. On weekends we would go site seeing. Plan to go back again later in the year. Great video!
I used to head up there from Phoenix in the 80's before this place was really discovered. We'd gather apples in the old orchard near the ruins. Back then I was doing photography, a certain kind of natural portraiture you cannot do just anywhere, especial in public, but the canyon and the ferns made great photos. I could tell you some stories for sure!

We did the hike on our way to the Grand Canyon with our 10month old son about 2.5 years ago! Beautiful hike and area! We'll definitely be going that way again when we get our RV. Greetings from Georgetown, TX!
Marc , Trisha, Caleb and of course Charlie are amazing. Thank you for all the wonderful and great tips. I would love to see Arizona some day looks so picturesque. Trish I am so looking forward to your cookbook! and KYD55 friends return.
Wow we live 15 minutes from the tuber exit point! So amazing seeing you drive the roads we drive almost every weekend!! I can't wait to get great ideas of places we haven't taken our trailer yet this summer.
I used to tube float the Salt river in the 80's, middle of summer! We'd take the tube rental bus upriver with tube, just below Saguaro Lake dam. Such fun, I think it was a 5mi float. And Pebble Beach was a great stopping point, as well as just down from there where you guys stopped for cliff jumping.
It was so nice to see the Salt river, a new place for us to visit! West Fork is our favorite and great to see the end of the trail as I personally is not so sure footed to make it! Thanks for so many adventure packed videos !

Nice to see you cover our great state of Arizona was a little nervous at first with all the people that may be flocking in but they’re already doing it, houses are typically sold in hours and not days average single family in the Mesa Gilbert Chandler area is now running 500 K plus. Beautiful video thanks for sharing.👊👍😎

You guys are so much fun, 💓 I we so love AZ. My dad was stationed at Ft Huachuca twice total of 6 six years. Then wife and had a opportunity to go to AZ for walmart. We had 2 acres at foot of Mt Graham loved it. AZ is so miss understood the desert 🏜 can also be very very cold.
As always, great video. Can’t imagine why someone would give this a thumbs down. Must be jealous. Thanks for taking us along and providing such great info.
Stopped in Flagstaff on our way from NC to CA in 2006 (an RV adventure), saw the Grand Canyon and Sunset Crater. Sunset Crater wins awesomenss over GC hands down! Loved it!!! Great video...we just cruised through AZ in our little Roadtrek. Catalina State Park in Tucson is amazing. We went to Mesa (but didn’t know about the Salt River so that is on for the next trip to AZ), up to Sedona which was gorgeous. Luckily since our camper van is only 21 feet long, we were able to experience the 89A drive. This trip was a no reservations kind of trip and we were just going with the flow, so we didn’t get to camp along 89A because they were all full even in the middle of the week in April!! Can’t wait to go back and your Arizona, and your “travel guide” will be a tremendous help!

I love watching your RV trips. Every trip is like an adventure. We have a Trailmanor 2720qs and we're looking forward to our trip to Rocky mountain national Park this year. Love your channel.
Arizona, my second home. I have seen more of it than my native-of-AZ wife.
Met her there. Had 2 kids there. Cant wait to return as a snowbird...
Oh thank you for this! We are coming out there next month and yes, would love more travel guide videos!
Travel guides are awesome!
We watch every Video now! Even with my Wife who does not watch RUclips much. Great Content! Thank You from Victor Harbor South Australia
Nice to see Trish enjoys gardening, good way to relax. You need to go horse riding, I hear Marc loved riding mules in the Grand Canyon.
We would love to grow our own veggies. Perhaps one of the few drawbacks to fulltime RV living.
@@KeepYourDaydream Well melons and corn are things you can plant spring and return to in the fall.
We just got our new but old rig, like you guys said just get something and we did and then spent an amazing weekend at the beach in Pt Mugu CA... with our two dogs 🐕... we been following you from the beginning and we didn't have any tire problems... lol
Tubing on the salt river is a great experience. Especially if you come mid morning.
You guys are GREAT role models! I can't wait to be more on our family journey and hope to meet your great family along the way!
Love AZ, lived in Phoenix for 12 years. Currently in Atlanta. Watching this video makes me home sick for AZ:-)
We love our grand design 2600 rb trailer home and our new grand ginger is ready to travel.
I just read your @t. and it looks fantastic. I just bought an RV and my first trip is for the Grand Canyon, but now I can ad on a few more stops ...Thank you. Great idea!!
Catalina State Park is my backyard! Woot, can’t wait to see the next videos, I ❤️ AZ. Thank you for being great ambassadors to this Grand Canyon State.
Love AZ in the winter! Usery and McDowell Regional Parks! We were there as RV newbies in March scoping out where we will be taking Harvey ( our new to us RV). Good stuff!
Great water activity 🚣 galore !! ** You guys need to be on a major TV network reality show ..... So professionally done 💌🎬🎥📽️ Thanks for your personalized lifestyle sharing world !!
What a beautiful spot in AZ. Safe Travels, hope to see everyone home you guys have an awesome relationship with your kids ! As a parent we are truly blessed 🙌🥰
I love that drive on the Beeline. This is about 20 from my house. I live at the Base of the Superstition Mountains (They're not called the Lost Dutchman LOL)... at the end of Baseline... Which is Apache Junction, not Mesa. 😅
Loved it!!! We wanted to spend much longer in Flagstaff, but time was short. We plan to make Flagstaff our main destination in 2022! Love your channel!
AMAZING camping area- West of Alpine AZ (&South of Big Lake)
33°45'37.3"N 109°21'28.9"W
Close by area Buffalo Crossing campground (West&East Fork Black River). Salt River has been added to my AZ Bucket List plcs to explore, along Havasupai Falls & Rafting down the Colorado River around the Grand Canyon section! TY KYD🤗😍
Thanks for the inspiration and great content! My wife and I are going on our first big road trip in a few weeks and are hitting some spots we found from your videos!
The Lava Tubes in Flagstaff are a great spot to explore in the summer! It’s 50 degrees down there year round.
We need to do that and should have included in this episode!
I love going down the salt on the paddleboard. I wish i knew you were going to float with the NoSno team I would have loaded my board and gone along for the ride. Heather and Court are the best. I noticed that you had NoSno boards a few videos ago and wondered when you would be back. Welcome back to the valley. Love your channel. TFS (Thanks for sharing)
Loved this video! Love the Salt River! I'm so glad you featured it in a video. Looking forward to trying some of your recommendations for our state.
Absolutely love the smell of soil! I also love the little things that make it “A Summer to Remember!” Shirts ordered check! Itinerary starting May 14, 2021, end of Spring 2021 term, check! See ya out there people!!!
Oh my goodness! I want to go and hike on that trail near Flagstaff. It looks so beautiful!💕 Very proud of Caleb driving. 🚘👏
Absolutely more travel guides...please
We had such a great time with you two ❤️😄 even though we got lost on the trail... twice! 😂
You’ve inspired us to install a horn in our truck. I just don’t know if I can trust “New Jersey,” Collette with it.
Lol. The iphone footage didn't make the cut, but without those Cookies, we might have starved! Yes, everyone needs a horn.
1:44 minutes in, and loving it as always. THANKS SO MUCH for taking all of us along with you and your family.
Got my sweatshirt ordered today, thanks for all you do and share..as always stay safe, safe travels, and God bless love ya Nancy
Thank you for posting the standard tourists destinations and keeping the hidden gems in AZ, hidden. ;)
In all the time I was in school in PHX, I never made it to the Salt River to see the horses... blasted studying!
YES YES YES to more travel guides please! You guys are the best!
I love Arizona. It was the first place I went to in my new-to-me RV when I retired. And it was the first place I went *back* to. I will probably live there some day. ❤️
Spent 20 years in the valley and left, yes AZ has some good spots
Arizona has some hidden gems for sure. Enjoyed Guys!
Also very fun to go to Williams and take the route through Chino Valley and Prescott
You two have brought so much enjoyment to me through your videos. Love you all! Thanks for all you do. Jim.
