You get what you pay for. Metal latches and hinges, metal case and a proven compressor. I don’t want a broken fridge 5 hours from the next town. Some other brands also have some good products but this one is the benchmark
@@rrrandommman Thanks. I have a couple of Bluett 500s that I use , one hooked up to the fridge and a solar panel. The other I kept charged just in case I needed it. And it worked great last summer. I really only needed one Bluetti because I used the solar panel to keep it charged during the day. The second Bluetti was mostly for backup if I needed it which I didn't.

The fridge itself has no internal battery, the protection system is referencing the voltage remaining in whatever battery it is plugged into.
