Sir, thank you for the video. Much appreciated. I'm 45 years old and started TKD about 1.5 years ago with my son. Flexibility has been an issue for me, especially with hook kick. To provide some encouragement to others that may struggle with flexibility, it does get better with hard work. Mine has improved dramatically, though not enough to be very good at hook kick. ;) Thank you again, I think these stretches will help eventually.

Coincidentally, we had intense, fast paced kicking drills at my dojan this week. I've had multiple back and hip injuries and while PT has helped, they don't understand TKD and how I really want to be able to use my body again. In class this week I was so hard on myself for not being as fast/ having the power/stability I needed to execute my hook kicks as I feel I should be able to do as a black belt! I stretch, do PT, exercise and train but haven't gotten there and it's so frustrating. So, THANK you for such a comprehensive video with SUCH specific stretching, strengthening and practice for hook kicks! I'm pumped and know exactly what I am doing for the rest of my Sunday! 🖤🖤🖤

I struggle with hook kicks as I'm so quad dominant, my gluteus are very lazy... Are there other condition exercises you'd recommend to engage the glutes? Thanks 😎
You’re knowledge is crazy!! Even with my associates in biomedical science, pt cert, yoga cert, 8 other group x certs, and years of muay thai you amaze me with so much new knowledge!! Like that chamber stretch: i’ve not seen it anywhere else! In all honesty, you might consider not giving away the pdf’s for free: it’s ok to charge a little so you can have money for food, rent and your family- hell i’d pay for them. Particularly guys like me who have achieved full splits and are looking for the next steps

You're going to be fine! You wouldn't be out there if you weren't ready. As long as you do well in class, you should be fine on your test. Practice your basic kicks, blocks, and poomsae (if you've learned any yet). Wishing you the best of luck!

Haha no not at all. I use a program called mailerlite to manage it. I personally will only be using it to give you exlusive workout tips, calendars, and motivation...along with being the first to know about upcoming events or produts! In terms of mailerlite, you'd have to read their privacy policy to ensure they don't do anything with it.
Spinning hook kick is by far my worst kick, no matter how many tutorials I've watched I've made little progression 😭😭 tips would be good
Haha I have some GREAT tips on spinning hook kick! I'll add that to my list of videos :)
Try to do alot of side kick and hooks until you get comfortable with spinning then just combine that spinning moment with the hook
Its probably because you have poor mobility, you need to keep working on your stretches rather than the kick itself
