That thing is gonna be a B.E.A.S.T. Best crosscart build currently on RUclips by far. AND I love how you make everything with basic tools. My shop is the same way, no plasma table and all that fancy equipment. Keep up the great work!

I like how you reused the fuel tank looks cool! I had to reuse mine because it is fuel injected and the pump is inside
Hey man, awesome build! I have been following it since the beginning.
One bit of advice, put the radiator in the back of the kart and add a "fire wall" behind the seat and your head. I have seen people have coolant lines blow and get 3rd degree burns all over their skin. This happened at one of Cleetus Mcfarland's events and the guy was injured extremely bad.
Would hate to hear you got hurt from something that's easily avoidable.

I'm looking to make a 2 seater if I part use as gs moon buggy i can make it road legal in the UK but will change literally everything else your plans should help me alot adapting the rest of the frame

Aw sweet I have a Cbr1000f hurricane that I’m putting In to my roketa SXS. I got it for 100$ with no spark we had to jump a few wires but we finally got it started. Now I’m either going to have to replace the water pump seal or the head gasket because coolant is getting into the oil. ugh. Awesome build my dude!

Love the trick with the vice grips to help align the seat tab, have to do that in the future
Careful running it with out the exhaust itll lean the motor out and cause it too burn up a cylinder
probably not. if he runs it without headers the o2 sensors obviously wont give normal values and the computer should go into limp mode, wich would be pretty rich.
Jacob 4970 is right, but for a completely different reason. The exhaust elbows dissipate much of the heat from the cylinder head and exhaust valves. So without an exhaust you can easily burn valves and their valve seats.

Need to protect the driver If that radiator ever boils over
Looks to be the best explained and built cart on here. My only issue is with the radiator right behind your head because it has a remote filler you could put the rad back behind the engine or on the other side of the oil cooler. keep boiling liquid far away from my body.

Fuel tanks usually have rubber mounts to avoid vibration causing metal fatigue
very nice looking rig, looks well done ... do yourself a favor though and clean off the mill scale and the rust before welding it'll go much smoother

Are you trying to burn your rings and valves?
Looking good man! But I Would not recommend running the motor without headers or some kind of exhaust... that’s a good way to ruin your valves!!
I know it would not qualify for the same sporting purpose and would not be half as exciting, but would it be possible to scale the build to a 4 seater family version?
I am also interested to know whether your plans support mm based tubing. I see you are talking about inches?

Do you think I could use your build with square tubing? I have access to 1.5 inch and 2 inch square tubing and an unlimited supply. I'm okay with it being a bit heavier, but wondering if it will lose any strength
If the coolant was to escape the radiator it would likely burn you?
I imagine if the coolant were to escape maybe that would be the least of his worries?
What welder do you use? Also what is a welder you could buy from 350-450 dollars that can weld together metal pieces to build a go kart frame?

odd question but how tall are you? if your under 6 foot i cant fit into this cart. im 6'3 and i think with my helmet my head be sticking out the top. i need a crosscart frame not a mariocart lol but this is looking great.

You need to build a firewall of some kind.
What brand and type of car did you use for the parts? I mean the rear drive line, wheelbearings etc. I am building your buggy.

I am thinking about buying your plans but I wanted to know if the suspension configuration for the rear is able to work with a more legitimate set of shocks vs working with the front fork struts of street bike.

I would be careful with the radiator above your head. If you were to over heat the motor or burst a pipe it will pour over you head and down your back taking the skin with it

Ik zou heel erg oppassen met het koelsysteem zo dicht bij de bestuurdersstoel. Als er een slang losschiet of iets lek raakt zit je niet lekker. Voor de rest ziet het er top uit.
