Finally I found this! The Sleeper came from tv in my country 20 years ago and all I could remember from it was Elizabeth Spriggs' appearance, but being a foreigner I didn't know her name. For years I've every now and then gone through google images of British actresses trying to find her. Today I found an exhaustive list, and she was there, and from her Imdb page I found the name of this mini series! Thank you for uploading this.

I just want to say I have been searching for this show FOR YEARS having forgotten pretty much everything about it except the slurry pit scene. And I now I have found it... i can die happy
Nearly 2,000 views and no comments yet, here in 2020 I am watching this, not a bad British show I am enjoying it, it is a bit sad to see that most of the actors in this are now dead RIP to them all, thanks for the upload and now onto to part 2.
Over 22,000 now in Aug. 2020. I really enjoyed the 1st part. People may give up in the 1st 10-15 minutes but it's not at all what it seems. Good mystery and suspense with a solid story. 🎭

A bit slow, seemed to have too much supernatural at the start. Turns around fairly quickly with a good story dealing with the past and not at all spirit quirky like I thought. Can't wait to see Pt 2😊

Keep watching. Its more of a drama than a ghost story, and i feel lucky to have not stopped watching too early. I am beginning to like it now and we are not even at the end of the 1st episode 😁 If its not your style, i hope you'll find what you're looking for. 🍀

I was 12 when I saw this with my parents and that slurry pit scene gave me such chills at the time.
I feel lucky to not have stopped watching this film too early. I am beginning to like it 😁 Feeling excited 🤭🙃
