the BBc said it 'didn't do the numbers', which mean it didn't get high enough ratings to be recommisioned, although that is not true. It did do well but it was a head of department change, who did not like the show, cancelled it on a whim.

oh no, this is dreadful. 7 minutes of exposition confirmed this was not going to be good. it's a shame to see martin freeman's acting range is very narrow indeed. in fact, he reminded me of ronnie corbett's character in sorry. this is nothing more than a middle-class comedy that is predictable, tedious and drab. the bbc has got very conservative with its programming lately.
