For those of you are nagging on the "self respect" it's not like he yelled really or something worse then just being a bit rude. I mean, don't YOU get all pissy when YOU have a bad day? Wouldn't you want someone you care about to forgive you if you apologize? How's that double standard taste? If you don't like the story, don't read it. Write your own with ALL the self respect you seem to have for a FICTIONAL character. We all know, or should know, the difference between a story and reality. Stop putting down the author!
They forgot that from the beginning of their marriage, YN was indeed married to pay off a debt. Fortunately, I did not make Jungkook a cruel character who likes to torture or treat her like a slave. Was JK kinda rude? Yes, however, he doesn’t deserve to be condemned to burn in the pits of hell for eternity, he told Y/N he was busy more than once, and he was already stressed & Y/N insisted without giving him a clear reason for wanting him to go out with her didn't help at all with that, is understandable that she wanted to give him a surprise but under the circumstances it would have been better to tell him, both were wrong at some level, he didn’t have to be rude but Y/N should of have been mindful of his work & his schedule too, is good that they both knew what they did wrong & apologize to each other, self-respect is important but you also have to respect & be mindful of others.
Also, let's not forget that in this scenario JK & Y/N didn't marry for love, they basically did it for business proposes & both parties got some benefit out of it, of course, it would have been nice if JK was more attentive to Y/N after they started their married life in the bedroom however nobody lied to Y/N she was aware of what would entitle to be JK's wife, so even though that was not ideal it was a situation of " it is what it is" both of them were pretty much strangers before they marry without love, so is pretty logical that things won't be as "romantic" or smooth from the start when they are still learning to know each other.
Maybe those obsessed with self-respect will realize that I created a character like JK, who is rough and treats YN like a slave. But here, YN is self-aware enough to position herself; she knew from the beginning that she was sold under the guise of marriage. Jungkook restrains himself from "slapping" her; he doesn't raise his voice.
Regarding their relationship on the bed, it's still better than Jungkook playing with women at the club while he has a wife at home. Jungkook could have fun with other women, but then YN would feel even more worthless and unappreciated as a wife, and of course, she would be jealous-inevitably.
Jungkook already considers YN his wife; he just acts coldly. YN must be patient with him; if she can't be patient, she can ask for a divorce and prepare to repay her mother's medical bills to Jungkook.
@HaluFanfiction I understand that there are tons of stories out there where some authors romanticize not just mistreatment but straight-up abuse making the female or male lead (especially the female lead) martyrs who forgive everything in the name of "love", which is quite frankly very toxic & a very disgusting narrative to promote, especially for the younger ones, however, YOU ARE NOT ONE OF THOSE AUTHORS & that’s why I enjoy your content so much, you are one of the few who's stories & characters has actual coherence & amazing development because even within fiction things need to make sense.
