    Hi! thank you for this video. I just would like to ask when can I fertilize my Jasmine if it was overfertilized a month ago with banana peel juice. It only has one stem with 9 leaves. I thought another stem would come out because of little green bud coming out of the main branch but when I watered it with banana peel juice, the bud dried. I am planning to re-pot it to a loam soil with garden soil. can I put complete fertilizer as soon as I repotted it? Thank you in advance. This is the only Jasmine I have, I'd been trying to save this because its the grand duke and I really love it's big blossoms.

    Sir, I have a mogra plant which I recently bought from nursery. one day after watering I noticed a big worm in the soil which I removed instantly. next. morning I saw my. plant was infected something like small webs were forming on the new shoots and buds. leaves started curling. I have applied neem oil spray twice (only.neem oil and water) but it keeps reappearing. this is damaging my growth of the plant. today a bud blossmed hut only half. and leaves are dropping. what should I do. please help.
    also these potted in garden soil. by the nursery. they never added cocopeat, bonemeal or seaweed. I added vermicompost about 10 days but other 3 ingredients are still. missing. how do I add them now my plant is already in stress and is a small. plant reporting may not be advisable as this stage. please guide

    • @GardeningUpbeat
      @GardeningUpbeat  4 года назад

      @Gopa Dutta, Thank you for watching the video :-) Yeah, you can definitely put in in water or grow directly in soil as it already has roots. In soil, it would grow much faster. For SNAKE plant propagation in water, I have already done one video as well. In that video, you would see 5 of the easiest succulent to propagate. Here is the video link - ruclips.net/video/nyglD7YEC-E/видео.html

    Sir what should I do as my Basil plant is full of tiny black insects.... Please recommend smt..

    • @GardeningUpbeat
      @GardeningUpbeat  4 года назад +1

      @Mukul Kumar, You would need to use Insecticide. For organic, you can use Neem oil and dose would be - 5-7 ml Neem Oil + 4-5 ml light hand wash and then mix them in 1 liter water. If you are okay with using Chemical pesticide, then you can use either Rogor or Roket. Both are extremely powerful and dose would be - Max 1 ml in 1 liter water. If you don't have any at your home, collecting them at this time would be difficult because of lockdown. So, you can make a spray using Garlic and Chilly. Here is one of my old video showing how you can prepare it - ruclips.net/video/NuMzYzsxlOA/видео.html I have used Ghost Chilly, but you can use any powerful Chilly. One request - I would appreciate if you don't call me Sir, thank you :-)

      Banana peel liquid fertilizer

    • @GardeningUpbeat
      @GardeningUpbeat  4 года назад

      @Mithu's World, Can understand...You can apply Banana peel liquid fertilizer like @Happy Gardening mentioned. You can soak the Banana peel in water for 3-4 days and then apply on your plant. Or else, if you have either DAP or NPK at present, you can use that.
      Even if you don't add anything at present, changing the soil would be more than enough. Then, you can use the rest things after 3rd May. I hope, that's okay. Thank you :-)

    • @GardeningUpbeat
      @GardeningUpbeat  4 года назад +2

      @Jayanta Basumatary, As per studies, Eggshells actually contain calcium, sulfur, magnesium and potassium. So, definitely powdered Eggshells would help any plants but won't provide the Phosphorus which bone meal provides. Many people also just crack Eggshells and use around the plants. It doesn't help any as Eggshells take quite a long time to decompose. If you want to make the Eggshell powder, plz be careful as smell is horribly bad :-(
      Anyway, if you can't use any, using Vermicompost would be fine as it contains both Phosphorus and Potassium in small amount.

    Yellowing look like salt built up in your pot . it happens mainly in potted plant. may be i am wrong .may i know where is this place what is climate here . You shouldn't have blocked that drain hole with stone . always water in a way that atleast half of the water drains out if fertilizers are used . Every chemical component must drain out after a period as chemicals changes its composition after a period which plants cant use and can harm.
