I admire your confident intensity and efficiency in delivering your storytelling insights. Watching one of your videos can be an effective substitute for a cup of strong coffee - like a wake-up slap straight to the brain!
@@WritingCompellingFiction - my freshman year roommate in college was from Millbury Massachusetts. Given your proximity to places like Lake Chargoggagoggmanchauggagoggchaubunagungamaugg, I can certainly see how learning to talk fast would be essential to ever getting anywhere.
My favorite strong female character-Athena, Goddess of Wisdom from Homer's "The Iliad" and "The Odyssey". SHe did a great job of mentoring Odyeseus and guiding him back to Ithacia.
I thought this would be about specifically female characters. What we got, instead, (and I was disappointed by this) is stuff that is true of all characters regardless of sex. I was hoping for something more focused.
@@WritingCompellingFiction What you gave was great advice for all characters, especially protagonists, but what I was looking for was something to help distinguish female voices from male voices, and write better female voices
@@briannewman9285 Hi there. I'm a hopeful writer too. I use reddit as a writing resource when I'm trying to capture a specific type of person, woman or otherwise. Also, YT Shorts and tiktok. There are so many characters out here to draw inspiration from. I hope it helps. Happy writing and don't quit. We can do it😊
Favorite female Characters of all time in no particular order: Olivia Pope Buffy Summers Alley McBeal Meredith Grey Michonne These characters should be known and loved by all. No exceptions.

@@WritingCompellingFiction Not really, I'm too lazy to draw those days, maybe one day when I graduate university. which of your novels have become manga would love to take a look at them?
Aww, I get that! You should come to one of our writing sprints and just draw during the sprint instead. Here are some of them: www.amazon.com/s?k=shirley+jump+manga&crid=1706BBKVD6M3D&sprefix=shirley+jump+manga%2Caps%2C136&ref=nb_sb_noss
One of my favorite female stars is from the old movie, “Working Girl.” Actress Melanie Griffith came from a working class neighborhood and her boyfriend doesn’t get her and thinks she is trying too much to improve her situation. She finds him cheating on her (a very sad scene since she’s vulnerable inside and not sure she can elevate her situation), and leaves him behind, uses her smarts to get ahead at work with a bright idea, although her boss takes credit for her idea, and she continues to develop her skills anyway, never gives up. Her talent is recognized by Harrison Ford’s character (talk about landing on your feet) and together they make a fantastic business deal, which brings her up in the world of business and in life, where she deserves to be.

Great video but you need some spoiler warnings in advance. I’m watching This Is The Last Of Us now
Thanks for watching! Sorry about the spoiler. 😊
Tbh Wednesday should have a little bit less talents. She is close to a Mary Sue. But NGL the show is still good.
It is great!
