I am so glad RUclips recommended you in my feed Sandi ! I've been using Google Docs to create card sentiments, but my font options are lacking. I will be using your, very well taught, tutorial to add to my options. Tip re: printing - I just discovered that if I cut my EP matt paper (agree excellent choice) to the size I need for my card before I insert it in the printer, it places the sentiment exactly where I want it. Now I don't have to cut the paper after 🎉 I guess I should add, you do have to adjust the printer paper guides to the middle of the paper feed. Thanks for all the time & effort you put into creating & teaching 😇
Thanks Carolyn. I appreciate the tip very much! I don't know if you're interested, but I just started my series "Canva for Card Makers," which hopefully can give you some tips for expanding your digital ability to add to your card making skills. Thank you for this tutorial. I will be following your series to learn more. Question...will you show the actual Christmas card you design when completed?
Well, I would hope so, but no guarantees. My health issues have kept me away from my actual card desk since mid-July. I've been kind of stuck (see my last couple of short videos for more explanation). I am limited to my laptop & my recliner... I've only been out of the house 3 times since 7/18. It has been driving me crazy.... until I came up with this idea about teaching about digital enhancements. SO - that's a long answer just to say that if I actually can get back to making physical cards soon, I will definitely show what I make! Does that make sense?
