    I wish you had shown how,you put your film into the salad spinner. Do you just take the wet film off the reel and set it in the salad spinner in a circle? Or are you leaving the film on the reel when you put it in there? I am definitely trying this ingenious trick though.

      Ah, my bad. I keep it on the reels and just toss them right in there to spin. A few seconds in there and it takes off much of the water and the films dries faster for me.

    Here's a film drying tip. Find one of those old garment storage bags, the type which hangs in a closet and zips open to allow you to hang the clothes you rarely use. Once cleaned, they are an excellent bag in which you can hang your wet film to dry without fear of dust or dirt. If you are industrious, you may be able to adapt a flexible hose and an old hair dryer to pump warm air into the bag to speed the drying process. (Filter the air.)

      That’s certainly next level! Once I have a permanent situation, I’d like to do a filtered film drying cabinet. Dust is always a problem but one day, it’ll be slightly less of a problem. Thanks for the tip!

      You're very welcome. I was getting streaking and I couldn't figure out why. Turns out, I was hanging my film when it was still too wet. Not anymore! Cheers.

      @@dustinveitch2825 I think I'm struggling with the same problem! So how do you place the film in the spinner? Reel/no reel? Photo-flo? Distilled or tap?

    • @dustinveitch2825
      @dustinveitch2825  4 года назад +2

      Spiritworld X sorry about that! Yep, I use PhotoFlo and take it off the core while on the reel, place it in and just start spinning.
