Hello. I love the bear picnic. Its on my list. I love teddy bears. Your finish of Luna is amazing. I love the halloween pixies. You will love stitching lavender and lace❤. I have quite a few marked angels and hope to start one soon. My dragon needs some attention too. Hopefully next week😊 Have a great weekend. happy stitching
I have not yet bought into project bags - it's all I can do to afford the many cross-stitch patterns, fabrics, and flosses, BUT, I LOVE your dragon bag!!!! Now "that" I can see getting a special project bag for! It's perfect to go along with your project! I love all the patterns you decide to stitch! They are fun and definitely take you out of 'real' life! FUN!!!!
This summer I will be able to stop at a few stitching stores on my travels. Looking forward to finding a great fabric for Summer Quaker. Yours looks fabulous! Love your Mira finishes and enjoyed the video collaboration. Always enjoy visiting with you!
Just found your channel and agree that your love of cross stitch is contagious! I love that you get so excited. Now you have me wanting to join the fall Quaker SAL! It will be the second SAL I’ve ever done! You’ve got yourself a new subscriber! Happy stitching!!! Also that zodiac fabric is gorgeous !!!!!! ❤
I love the story about Erica’s Lavender and Lace and your Teddy Bears Picnic. I have a similar story. In 1992 I started L&L’s Earth Angel. It’s been in storage all this time and it’s so close to being done. I pulled it out a few months ago and I can’t make heads or tails of it. What I’ve stitched doesn’t match what I marked on the paper chart(because that’s all we had back then) and I got frustrated and put it away. I’ll try again because it’s so beautiful and I want it on my wall.
I’m going to join in the summer Quaker Sal. I’ve been meaning to start it since last year and this month is my birthday so very tempted to have it as my birthday start. I’m new to your channel but enjoyed it! Xx
Hi Samantha. I couldn't figure out where your recent video with the June update for the-year-of-the-dragon SAL went, so I'm posting on your channel page my love of the Dragon project bag FIRE. It was a great video. You guys seemed to be having so much fun, which was fun for me as well. Hopefully, I will be posting an update on my dragon progress soon. Happy stitching, Pat Tackaberry
Hi Pat!! Thank you for joining us!! Head over to @fibersandflosscanada And leave a quick comment on the latest video flosstube special year of the dragon. I don’t want you to miss out on the opportunity of the dragon project bag!! I look forward to seeing an update on your dragon soon ❤!!
Your Summer Quaker looks great! I am still working on mine too! I have to say something here! I participated on that SAL because I like you and your videos and I wanted to support you by taking part in the SAL. I didn't think that Quakers would be my style really. But then I started it and I couldn't believe how much I enjoy working on that pattern. I still don't know why but it's really satisfying. So I decided that I am going to stitch the Spring Quaker too! And then when I was thinking that I should start kitting it up, you suggested the Autumn Quaker SAl and oh, I was, still am, so excited about it! Sorry about this little story but I am really happy and looking forward to it!!! 😊 Also I am about to, finally, start a cute dragon pattern so I can take part in your Year of the Dragon SAL 🐉 Luna looks gorgeous by the way and this "Wine Dragon" pattern is very cute. I tried but I didn't manage to find it in any European online shop I'll keep trying though and it might come up at a point 🍷 I will stop blabbering now 😛 Just thanks one more time for all the enjoyable videos you make for us and I'm really looking forward to watching your next video 😀🧵🪡
Seeing your finish on the Bewitching Pixie has me wanting to stitch one. That's awesome that you were able to win those Lavender and Lace patterns. I look forward to watching your Year of Dragon video and working on the dragon that I'm stitching.
I am all too familiar with Marbek and Rebecca Waldrop. Check out the Nativity by her. I started that back in the 90's but did take a rather long break from cross stitching. I've recently picked it back up again, but do not see an end anywhere in sight, especially considering I'm no longer anything close to a monogamous stitcher!
I absolutely love all the projects and a sucker for Quaker patterns. Would you be able to do a video how you kit up your projects? I usually do kits, but have been dying to start these Quaker patterns. Definitely want to join a stitch along
Thank you for sharing! I love your enthusiasm! I made the Lavender and Lace spring angel years ago in the 90’s. It was my very first Lavender and lace. Right now I am working on midsummer night’s fairy, my very first Mirabilia. I want to make so many more and I am collecting many more thanks to you. 😁
Love seeing your progress on Summer Quaker. I'm stitching along, I'm not as far as you are, but it's one of my WiPGOs for this month, so there will be progress- thanks for the inspiration!
Hello Samantha! Je viens de découvrir ta chaîne et j’ai totalement adoré: ta bonne humeur, ton énergie, tes projets,… tout! Je vais continuer à te suivre avec plaisir! Gros bisous du Québec!💜💜💜 Amélie🥰
I just took out my summer Quaker and put on my front door. Yours is looking great. I just kitted up my autumn is as joyful chart and will start once I get to my destination to visit son and his girlfriend who is also a stitcher! Love your flosstubes. It’s always great to see what you’ve been up to and progress. Love the idea of the Halloween witches as your backdrop. After doing my first Nora, using your and aricas Mirabilia series, just bought petal fairy and will start that later this year. Enabled and inspired!
Samantha, your work is amazing, how you tackle such large projects is beyond me. I have three Mirabelia patterns kitted up & I’m trying to find the courage to at lease start one of them. Summer Quaker is stunning
I would love to join in with the Autumn Quaker SAL but am not so sure about the quote (to be honest, I’m not sure what it means!). I’m sure there are plenty of other autumn quotes around though so I’m definitely going to kit it up !
How fun to hear the story of your cross stitch beginnings! Your enthusiasm is certainly contagious. As I was listening today, I started “Legendary Girls” by Littlehouse Needleworks…it’s going to be a graduation present for one of my daughters.
Oh, I LOVE the Storyteller.....and especially your wonderful project bag. I have watched your video in chunks this time and so will have to watch it from the beginning again....lol.
Hi Samantha! Just returned from a two week cruise and am happily catching up on flosstubes as I came home with a bit of a cold. Hoping to pick up some stitching this weekend and knew you would be just the thing to watch to motivate me! I am so in love with Luna and can’t wait to see her and the others on display for Halloween.
I love your finish of Luna! I want to stitch her after I finish Emi. I've also had my eye on Autumn Quaker, and love the idea of a stitch along this fall! 👍🏻
Hi Samantha. I really enjoy you and Erica’s channel. I’m also a Mirabillia fan. I just did a Mirabillia WIP parade. I’m planning on stitching the free bee pattern in July.
Thank you for a wonderful video. I’ve been enjoying your back drop. I feel like we have such similar tastes. I love all the Lila Studios and will start Summer in August. Firefly Fairies was my unicorn chart. I can’t wait to see the fabric you get. I’ve seen it before and it was a little mottled for me. But maybe yours will look more mellow. Happy stitching!!
I've got the general store pattern from Told in a Garden that I need to start, but I keep giving the navy blue fabric I bought for it the side-eye, wondering why I would do dark fabric to myself.
I also have the one hundred Owls piece I cannot believe it was a free chart, wow. I will have to see what flosses I have and buy some fabric. Very inspiring video, I was working on Raven queen for my husband while watching/listening. I have nearly finished it I saved the head area to the very end. I will wait for you to see where you start the owl project. I also have just Nan band sampler that I can work on and some Halloween faeries and a dragon I can work on also. So I will be stitching along with you, thanks again for another wonderful video.
Oh Samantha! You are such an enabler I started Summer Quaker because of you. Progress is being made 😅 Now I want to kit up Fall Quaker $$ and Time. LOL
Always great catching up with you Samantha, it's always so comforting! Great progress on Summer Quaker! I actually just bought Autumn Quaker and might just have to start it with you in September. Thank you for the motivation :). Zodiac looks amazing. I know the fabric is challenging, but it will be so worth it in the end. Keep going, you got this! OMG you're stitching a Told in A Garden too! Your farmers market looks great. I just started Strawberries forever, but it's been so enjoyable. Bird in Hand is a town in Pennsylvania that's not far from where I grew up (20 min). I think that's why I love the Told in A Garden designs because it always reminds me of my childhood :). Love your Mira bee! So shiny and fun! A surprise Luna finish!! Congrats! Those pumpkins are everything. Wow! Omg that picture of you and Erica as teens! So fun that you have been stitching and friends for SO long!
I love your portfolio with a stitched piece on the front... very beautiful finish! I love Cheryl's designs... all of them! The zodiac is spectacular, but also since I am stitching on 40 count at the moment, I get how challenging it is! Oh my goodness that bee is so beautiful! I teared up about the Arica's story... what a special connecting stitch! I love the Wine Dragon pattern... I would stitch that!
Hi Samantha. I’ve seen all your videos and Im really enjoined them but it’s the first time that I commented under one. So beautiful projects. But the most touching thing for me is friendship you share with Arica and I wish I that I had a friend who can share the love for cross stitching. Love both of you.💕🌺
Hi Mary !! It’s wonderful to hear from you. I so appreciate you taking the time to comment today as I enjoyed reading it. Thank you so much for sharing your time here with me!
Love your WIPs. And I am stitching on the Summer Quaker (Started on your b-day!) Wanted to get it done this year, but so many other starts for summer this year!! Will join you with the Autumn is as Joyful. i I love your idea of kitting them up and keeping them in the same bag!! Can't wait for Winter Quaker! Had to restart my Mira "Lady of the Flag" 😭😭 due to me not being happy with the loose linen --not fun to stitch on the one I got at all. Determined to get it done!!! Have a great stitchy month!
Hi Samantha. I’m tempted to start Lila Studios Autumn Quaker with you in Sept. This will be my first Lila design . Thanks for giving us lots of time to kit up. Happy Stitching.
Omgosh!! Why do I love that Teddy Bears Picnic!!! It is beautiful- maybe the sentiment behind your first stitch❤️😂🥹! I also feel the 80’s ( due to your enthusiasm) is making a comeback! Thank you- thank you Samantha! We all want to live nea 1:00:18 r you to hang out! Also- count me in for Autumn Quaker- I need to finish my Halloween Quaker . I just started my first Carolyn Manning -“Night Before Christmas”! Did you say you have never done one?!?😉
Your Summer Quaker is so beautiful. My birthday is in August too & I treated myself to the Summer Quaker and I am going to stitch it on 20-count Ivory Aida with 1 over 1. I can not wait until August to start it. I can not wait to see what the Winter Quaker is going to look like. I love Tiny Modernist. I am working on Secret Garden & The Twinchie Project & her designs are so awesome. Those are such beautiful flowers in that vase. Love seeing everything you are working on. Your stitching is so beautiful. Happy Stitching.
Great video full of enthusiasm and beautiful stitching. As soon as I saw Bird in Hand I went and ordered it. I have Amish friends who live there and I’ve been lucky to run the BiH half marathon - many Amish participate and run in their ‘plain’ clothes as opposed to the tech gear most of us run in. Usually starts with watching hot air balloons lifting off and there is something special about running in the beautiful countryside. I am in for Autumn, just like your lovely stitching had kitting up Summer 😊. Question on your beautiful Bee, did you stitch as charted? I am going to download it as I’m a bit bee obsessed and your finish is fabulous. Happy Stitching!
I have just started my first Mirabilia, Winter White Santa. I have Minerva waiting to start. I just put the Autumn Quaker on my waiting list so I think I would love to be in your SAL for this
Wonderful stitching! Loved your goodies from your guild meeting. As a quilter, I believe your Jane's Joy is a take off on the historical quilt entitled Dear Jane. Check it out. Interesting crossover. And now I have another chart to find😂. Happy Stitching!
I love your projects and your sweet attitude - so refreshing♥️ And you definitely inspired me - purchased two 'Told in the Garden' patterns:) Looking forward to your next episode with Erica!!
Always love your work. I'm currently working on an old Lavender & Lace called Mother's Tree. My oldest female relative we found came to British Colonial America from Wales landing in Chester County around the same time as William Penn. I know her daughter was Quaker so I am assuming she was also. I feel I need to stitch a Quaker sampler for her. I love your Summer Quaker with the sailing ship. It's seems perfect to honor my great grandmother's journey. Wanted to tell you about a Civil War quilt in a museum somewhere in New England called Dear Jane. It looks similar to the Jane's Joy cross stitch pattern you showed. Even the triangle blocks around the edge of the quilt.
Thank you ❤ Yes, you are so right! I’m 100% drawn to chatelaine designs. I have yet to pull the trigger on purchasing one due to the expense. I know myself … I will want to use all the fancy threads and drink in all the awesomeness!! One Day for sure!!!
I have been just barely resisting getting the Autumn Quaker, but didn’t want to get distracted from my summer one. I think your start date sounds perfect, both for the autumn project, and as a goal for finishing my Summer Quaker! Great idea-thanks!☺️
Yes of course! Here are a few things to consider: use one strand of a shorter length of Kreinik then you are used to with dmc. If you have trouble threading your needle 🪡 try the next size up if you can for a bigger eye.
Can’t wait to see the farmers market and Bird in Hand. I live just outside Bird In Hand, Pennsylvania. Just down the road from Intercourse, Paradise, and Blue Ball!😂 (For real, look it up!)
I have Always loved your Zodiac stitch. It's one of my favorites. Luna is beautiful. One day I hope to stitch a Mira or a Nora Corbett. How do you determine how much to stitch on a Round Robin piece?
You're so charming and fun. Thank you for posting the video. I've a question. I've been hearing the term "Primitive Cross Stitch", what that term mean? Another question, how do I get that pattern behind you on your right? It's a little fairy in gold and purple with bluish dragonfly wings. Is that a Mirabella?
Seeing your Told in a Garden reminded me I want to order the charts I love from the line that I'm missing. They bring me so much happiness. Thanks for sharing your stitching!
Fantastic progress on Summer Quaker. I’m also workin on it & have a question. How did you stitch the straight dark lines on the ship? One long thread or a series of back stitches or? Thanks
Great question!!! I did a little of both. I had to try a few different approaches, my main goal was to get them to look straight. This required some long and some short stretches of backstitches. Good luck to you !!! Thank you for watching 🦋
Hi there. Enjoyed your video. Can you please tell me if Miribalia and Nora Corbett the same designer, or certain designs under each. I've wondered about this for years.
Stunning finish !!!!!
Hello.

Your enthusiasm IS contagious!

Gros bisous du Québec!💜💜💜 Amélie🥰
Omg I began the Lavender and Lace fairies chart maybe 20 years ago and never finish it. I always says that I must go back to it one day :-)
Just found you and you have inspired me soooo much, after a 2-3 yr drought in stitching xxx already bought Summer Quaker lol xxx
I woke up to this pretty face + stitching ❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉
Thanks for sharing your stitchy goodness again. Happy stitching!
Love your finishes and your progress on your wip. Happy stitching!

I would love to join in with the Autumn Quaker SAL but am not so sure about the quote (to be honest, I’m not sure what it means!). I’m sure there are plenty of other autumn quotes around though so I’m definitely going to kit it up !
Oh my Samantha! You are so inspiring! Your stitching is fabulous! Thank you for sharing! Happy stitching!
Thank you so much!😊
LOVe 'summer quaker'....and will definitely join you with the Fall edition.

Those firefly fairies look like the 3 good fairies from Sleeping Beauty!
I really love seeing your cross stitch projects.
Thank you! 😊
You really are an inspiration
Hi Samantha! Just returned from a two week cruise and am happily catching up on flosstubes as I came home with a bit of a cold. Hoping to pick up some stitching this weekend and knew you would be just the thing to watch to motivate me! Hi Samantha. I really enjoy you and Erica’s channel. I’m also a Mirabillia fan. I just did a Mirabillia WIP parade.
I’m planning on stitching the free bee pattern in July.
Such a wonderful sharing of your projects and friendly enabling as well. Keep up the fabulous stitching and sharing!
You are a joy to watch and listen to Samantha. Thankyou.
Thank you so very much ❤
Thank you for a wonderful video.
So funny I stitched that Teddy Bears Picnic on afghan fabric. Not sure what to do with it since there are no babies in my circle.
Beautiful stitching as always. I just love how much joy you have for your projects.
Thank you so much! 😊
I too am wondering about kreinik and how to stitch with it.😊
I really love the blue fabric. It completely changes it.
Always great catching up with you Samantha, it's always so comforting! Great progress on Summer Quaker! I actually just bought Autumn Quaker and might just have to start it with you in September. I made the teddy bear picnic pattern for a friend’s baby years ago.

I think you have to!! Just saying !!!

I've missed you Sam❤. What a pretty new backdrop today! I've been working 60 hours a week=so behind on FT😮

Your enthusiasm for cross stitching is contagious in a good way. Your projects are beautiful. Keep stitching.😊
Thank you so much!😊
I’ve finished the Halloween Quaker and now want to stitch all the rest. Definitely joining in on your SAL. 😊
Great projects. It surprises me with your love of doing patterns with beads and sparkly threads that you aren't working on a Chatelaine...
Thank you ❤ Yes, you are so right! I’m 100% drawn to chatelaine designs. I have yet to pull the trigger on purchasing one due to the expense. I know myself … I will want to use all the fancy threads and drink in all the awesomeness!! One Day for sure!!!
I say that because I just started my first one... they are so awesome!
Wonder where Nora got the idea to add beads, etc? The designs are spectacular even without added jewels.
I have been just barely resisting getting the Autumn Quaker, but didn’t want to get distracted from my summer one. I think your start date sounds perfect, both for the autumn project, and as a goal for finishing my Summer Quaker! Great idea-thanks!☺️
Your work is beautiful! Can you tell me the secret to stitching with Kreinik?
Yes of course! Here are a few things to consider: use one strand of a shorter length of Kreinik then you are used to with dmc. If you have trouble threading your needle 🪡 try the next size up if you can for a bigger eye.

Can’t wait to see the farmers market and Bird in Hand. I live just outside Bird In Hand, Pennsylvania. Just down the road from Intercourse, Paradise, and Blue Ball!😂 (For real, look it up!)
That’s so interesting!!! Thank you so much for watching today ❤ !!
I love Kitchen Kettle Village there! Haven’t been in there in 10 years. Love that area.
For Summer Quaker, what cout are you using?
Oohhh I should have mentioned that!! 36 count linen from a Canadian handdyedbyrolanda
Great projects Can you please me where can i qet bird in hand and farmers market.
Great Question !! I found mine on a Facebook buy & sell cross stitch group. I’m positive you’ll find them !!!
Yes, you are correct they are the same designer! Nora’s are a smaller design and Mira’s are big projects! Thank you for watching today! ❤
