As a k008-3 owner, I have to say that a true zero turn would be nice at times. There have been times in tight locations where the machine had hit the sides of a ditch I was working in. Also, the true excavator controls are a lot less fatiguing over time, so I wouldn't mind those either.
The short answer is yes. The more detailed answer is how far is your reach and how high do you need to lift. According to the specs it should lift 330 lbs with the blade down over the front at the longest arm reach, but it is always dependent on the lift height. Here is the spec sheet: www.1stchoiceequipment.com/fckimages/literature/Kubota%20Excavators/Kubota%20K008.pdf
I've just bought a Xiniu Rhino XN10-8 and it's a brilliant little machine. The new Chinese excavators are far better than ones made a couple of years ago. There's a very good range of buckets and attachments that are great value for money. China definitely fills the gap in the homeowner market with these micro diggers.

As a big guy, the K008 fits me great...but in tight space, the U10 is a game changer.
I'll take either one over a shovel ..😀
Save those shoulders
Nonsense, your shoulders will be shaped by the gods themselves.
To look like a greek god
Would the k008 be able to lift a 200 lb log?

Just buy 3 chineese excavators for same price..
After using them for a bit you'll want to se them on fire. Buy a Kubota, these things are bullet proof!
@@pavelkolp I am looking at yanmar, cat, and bobcat. Cant make up my mind, they all so expensive tho
@@fuqutube Make the investment and never look back. I would recommend CAT or Kubota. However Kubota U10-5 would be my first option.
@@pavelkolp thanks I am looking at the 3 ton stuff to start.. I appreciate the support..
