銀英伝NHK版のOPを澤野さんが作る事を知り、夫婦で楽しみにしていました。妻が急に他界した為、この素晴らし曲が聞けなかったのが残念でしょうが無いです。澤野さんの曲は本当に心に沁みますね。私にとっての一生の曲になりました。

I showed my dad the fist couple episodes and he was like “it’s a Star Wars rip off” which ok, fair there’s a lot of “bro this is just Star Wars” shit in the first few episodes.

Kircheis is an ABSOLUTE UNIT. Holy hell never realized he was that much taller than Reinhard.
Looks a bit overstated, Kircheis was really tall and towered over Yang when they met, but he's only supposed be 2-3 inches taller than Reinhard, so it seems a bit off here.
0:40 it gave me chills

I still prefer the original DNT opening, but I do like how this one is similar to the old OVA openings with the way they show so many characters with the background of fleet engagements.
Don't criticize much the adaptation quality of this anime.
I don't know much about the old one but this new one looks great and fantastic.
I don't blame you you retro fans that you kinda hate the new looks.
@@rogueascendant6611 from what I can tell, havent got around tow watching the new, will when the whole thing is done, it's mostly that certain characters are a good bit sharper and sleeker than they were originally, some of that is just when the original was made, but imo it kinda suits them better than what I've seen of the new looks.
Some changes here and there to designs like a swapped haircut between characters can weird out old audiences as well, and I think there were some small differences in the look of the new fleets. All in all I'm glad the new version exists, still leagues better than most of its contemporaries, and has seemed to have brought a lot of attention to the majesty of the series as a whole.
So my personal reservations about the look of it are not all that important in the grand scheme of things.
@@rogueascendant6611 I watch both version. They are different yet the value is still same. Both of them has differently adapted for character and the same time, timeline in old version was clearly follow novel and new version is more follow timeline. Both of the version has lack and good point. I still compare both of version because we can look how different from two kind perspective.
@@rogueascendant6611 For the most characters I'm okey with the new designs, I like Obernstein's the most, but some of them i.e. Reuenthal looks so bad compared to the OG. In the end it's a matter of taste but I feel the new iterations feels too bisbounen for my tastes. The females characters' designs though are damn great!

binary starも良い曲だけど、こっちの方が好きだな。特にヤンとヤン艦隊の面々が出るカットが曲の盛り上がりにマッチしてて良い感じに。

you're going to get a lot more on Hilda during or after S3, trust me I watched the 80's 110 episode OVA and Hilda is a VERY important character.

This opening is absolutely, great without question. It online bugs me that the forgot about Edwin Fischer when the showed Yang's officers. I mean he is the same rank as Murai and Iserlohn's Vice Commander so why not show him as well

Yes, but a Modern version surpasses a classic one. See Monster, it’s impossible for a current animation to improve the old one because classics give it extra charm in my opinion.

Segundo anime espacial que vejo e considerando ele também um masterpiece, ou é coincidência, ou talvez animes nessa pegada sejam diferenciados mesmo (mas acredito em coincidência apenas).
Pra eu achar um anime masterpiece é raro, sou bem chato nos meus critérios, bem restrito, mas eu estou com vontade de ver esse Legend od Galactic a 5 anos e sempre deixei pra depois. A 5 anos atrás eu vi 10 min de um ep e já achei do caralho, por isso fiquei 5 anos com vontade e hypado.
A propósito, o outro anime espacial do caralho que eu vi foi Planetes. Assim como LOGH, Planetes é um outro anime bem diferente dessa mesmice que vemos (E aqui temos algo que não é coincidência, animes nota 10 quase todos são animes bem diferentes, por exemplo esses dois e outro caso é Mushishi, os 3 são bem singular no mundo dos animes).
recomendo que leia as novels ^^ LoGH é uma obra de arte ^^
Pelos seus gostos creio que irá gostar de Mobile Suit Gundam (principalmente The Origin), Kino no Tabi, Mononoke, Versailles no Bara e por aí vai :)

@@lucas_inoue The one sitting on the chair looking at the computer / screen thing? I can't say for sure that it's Fischer as the facial characteristics are different. Also Fischer has a mustache and I don't think that the person on the bottom left has one.

You can find it on Crunchyroll, but the version with this opening only shows in Japan. Not much is different with the Japanese version aside from some ost changes.

Just love Yang's "I-dont-want-to-be-here" expression. The comparison against Reinhard's determined expression is very laughable, if only we didn't know better of his background story

I really hate this arc as they played the FPA like fools by sending a poison to kill it inside then combine it with corruption. I had a feeling that the author really hates tactician in his novels because 2 of them are the same in a sense if you know what I'm talking about (the other one is from arslan senki) and I felt that Tanaka really favored Reinhard since the beginning of his novel and Yang is only there to help Reinhard develop his character.

There's one major reason the remake is better that the 80s version: Sawano's music.
It's sad because this anime get overshadowed in 2018 :(
