Your theme is beautiful but what gets me in your set-up is the music. Maybe I missed it but can you put a link to it in your description box. I want to listen to it on loop 🌼🌼🌼
I think that you could do the lines initially and do the petals at the end of the month, also doing the petals at the end of the month a great time to reflect on stress levels looking at the calendar and thinking about the days that were the most stressful for you! *flower emoji*
For the stress-tracker I prefer the petals, but the lines are probably easier and less stressful. When I'm stressed I either read a book or i do some cross-stitching. As it involves a lot of counting, there is no room left in my brain for anything else.
I didn’t know what cross-stitching was so I had to search it up. It looks really cool though, kind of like pixel art but with textiles! I’m excited to look into it more. If you like doing that then I would also recommend macrame. It looks scary at first with all the knots and patterns together but once you learn the basic few knots you can do almost any macrame project there is.
I love to cross stitch too! It helps me focus on one task instead of letting my mind wonder and worry. I started last March during the quarantine and in still going strong 💜
I love this and was debating having a daisy theme for May in my own bullet journal. Just feels fitting 😊 I think lines would be less stressful for your stress tracker, though the petals would look pretty, too. Maybe do lines first and then you can always go over them and turn them into petals if you want to once you have all the lines?🌼
This is definitely my new favorite spread you’ve ever done. Daisies are my favorite flower. I just love them! 🌼 I think drawing petals would be cute for your stress tracker. One of my favorite things to distress is laying outside in the grass and watching the clouds move by. Just hearing nature and watching the slow movement is really relaxing to me. ☁️⛅️☁️
Ways to cope with stress : There are two that work for me. The first one is meditation, where I pick three times a week to sit in a dark room and play music, and just focus on my breathing and the the music and relaxing all the muscles in my body. That one is for lowering overall stress. The other one that I use is to help stop anxiety loops at night when I'm supposed to be sleeping. It takes practice, but I try to pick a scene out of a book and then I put myself in that scene and replay it from start to finish in my mind. When I get to the end of the scene I'm supposed to fall asleep. If it doesn't work the first time, I keep trying until it does. When it's a new scene it doesn't work right away the first night. You kind of have to train your brain to get used to the idea. Generally I try to pick a scene that starts out with high emotion - like feeling trapped, but by the end of it there is relief. The the trapped person is rescued, for instance. Or someone comes along to comfort them. I've been using this method since 2016, and have only had maybe three nights since that I struggled with anxiety loops and couldn't sleep at all. On occasion, I do notice that my brain might get tired of a particular scene and it will be a struggle to stay focused on it. That usually means it's time to learn a new scene. I liked this way better then imagine you're on the beach. I find that really boring. 🌸
i love how much you experiment with different things each month and yet it’s all still very much your style! i agree with others that the lines would be less stressful but i find something beautiful about the idea of a super stressful day having a big, beautiful petal to represent that. so even if your month is filled with 10/10 stress, you’ll end up with a beautiful flower as a result. but that’s just me and my overly-romantic cheesy heart! it could also be therapeutic to fill in a big petal after a stressful day :)
What helps me: when I'm out of my head and all over the place I will ask my significant other to play a simple game of cards with me. Few things are as grounding as having another person whose eyes you can look into and a tactile grounding through the cards. It also distracts you from worriying when you have to think about what cards to play. Also it's fun and I'll be happier afterwards :) 🌼
Beautiful! 🌼 it feels so lovely and springy! As someone who also has anxiety, my counselor told me to try walking too. I thought that it was incredibly silly, but walking has become one of my best anti-anxiety measures... and one of my most treasured self care moments!
Journaling for me helps me figure out why I'm not calm. Once I can find the source, I find power in knowing the source and finding resolution is attainable. 💖🌞🌵😷
I've been making my own plan-with-me videos since the new year now, but I still can't start my spread until I've watched your video! Die-hard fan here 😂 Thanks for all the inspiration. I would have never found the confidence to share my spreads without seeing you do it so brilliantly
🌼 I actually did I similar idea for my April theme with daisy outlines and a geometric rainbow! Stress tracker- the lines make it look more like a sun with rays, but it is whichever you are comfortable with. You could always go back at the end of the month and make the lines more petal shaped if you change your mind! - Things that help keep my stress down in manageable levels are frequent breaks throughout the day: playing with my pets, watching my comfort RUclips channel (which you are one of 😉), and going outside to make wishes on dandelions!
Throwing my two cents in here - my vote is for lines for the stress tracker! It definitely looks.. less stressful?.. to have more negative space. :) Love this setup, Elizabeth!
When I'm stressed I always go to my plants, either taking care of them or getting a new one, being surrounded by the green ones makes me feel so much better and calm. Hope it helps someone!
🌼 For your stress tracker, my initial thought was "petals of course!" But reading the comments has me agreeing with the point about lines being less stressful. Plus, if you wanted, you could always go over the lines and make them into petals if you really wanted to.
🌸 for the stress tracker the petals would be lovely but at the same time the lines would be simple to record in a second or two. That's not much help, but either way it'll look nice and be a helpful tool for you.
I love watching your videos. Initially started watching to get inspired (still struggling on how to go about it), but I find watching you so soothing so you've become my moment of zen 😊🌼
What helps when I’m overwhelmed or have anxiety is my chain duvet, it’s so heavy and calming and I sleep with it as well. It helped me on better sleep. A structured week plan, where I pick a day or 2 off, where I turn my phone off as well. Going to bed early and read instead on being on my phone. Meditation has helped a lot as well to connect with my feelings and learning to embrace and accept bad days as well, so I don’t end up getting overwhelmed by my feelings and explode in an anxiety attack. It helped me detect why I can get low energy. Remember all people are different and different techniques helps. But I’m wishing all a more calm and peaceful life. Just listen to your body it will quickly tell you what it wants if you listen with a calm and open mind ❤️
🌼 I like the lines better than the petals. Also, a really simple (and cheesy) calming strategy I like to use is to sit down and do a Thorn, Rose, Bud write-up. Thorn: challenges of the day Rose: grateful moments of the day Bud: what I’m looking forward to
I think lines for your stress tracker because sometimes having something more simplistic in ur bullet journal can give a nice effect against the more detailed daisy dutch door.
I really liked both your ideas for the stress tracker! I personally like the petals more, but you can’t go wrong with either!! I love watching your videos, thank you for putting out beautiful content! As you are moving and feeling stressed- take care of yourself and take a break from RUclips if you need! We love and support you and want the best for you! My personal anxiety coping: -I write out what caused my anxiety and my symptoms/manifestations. -I may gently wash my face -slow my breathing -stretch (my body gets really tense and my stomach hurts) -talk with someone I trust and whom will listen kindly -remove myself from a situation or find a more calming place Have a great day y’all and happy May!! 🌼🌷
Personally I think the lines are better. The entire month looks amazing. I appreciate that you show your upcoming month spread prior to the month actually starting.
For the stress tracker: Maybe START with the lines, then go in later (every few days or so) and draw the petals in so you're never worried about space or making them look good together.
Both are wonderful and pretty but I would definitely do petals!!!! Also I love your font for the weekly and the best thingI do when I’m stressed or have anxiety is put on a really good up beat songs and sit down. 9/10 you will smile and and want to dance around and BAMN! Instant good mood. My husband will do this randomly if he sees I’m stressed out and he’ll grab my hand and make me dance with him, even if I don’t want to..... Again, instant good mood and smiles.🌺
Like others have said, I'm team lines! Also, I have a page in my bullet journal of quotes that make me feel brave, which I refer to a lot, even though I've practically memorised it! A good tip I've found for anxiety, is to do something that takes brain power, like a puzzle or sudoku or a crossword. Consuming my brain with something to do gives me less room to obsess. *flower emoji*
For the stress tracker, I like the idea of the lines! It doesn't take a long time to do, you don't have to get out white paint, you could just use a paint pen. It also ties in the lines from the calendar and would save some space!
🌼 I was listening to the podcast called How to Love Your Body. In the episode I listened to- they talk about let’s be thankful to our coping mechanisms. For me when I get extremely stressed and anxious turning on thunderstorm noises and a sleep podcast to get me to sleep/nap helps but I sometimes feel really regretful and guilty because napping and sleep is perceived as unproductive but after listening to the podcast I am thankful for that coping mechanism because it helps! So don’t forget to be thankful for your coping mechanisms!
For ways to keep calm just literally stare out of a window and concentrate on little details of your surroundings outside. I know it sounds incredibly simple but it helps me🌸🌺💮
Maybe do the lines first (less stress) then cover with petals at the end of the month to get a better idea of how you felt? As a kind of recap/review. The petals look exceptionally pretty, but as others have pointed out, the lines are probably going to be less stressful as you go.
I like them both. To me the line look more like a sun. I would use the lines as a starting point and at the end of the month, I would turn them in to pettles. That way you can reflect on the month and think about what helpt when you where stressed to calm your nerves. 🌼
I just want to say thank you for making your videos. They are so relaxing and I find so much comfort in watching you create art; the music and cinematography, perfection. I've been on a depression and anxiety wave and things have been difficult, your videos have given me so much peace. I just want to say thank you 💛🙏🏽💚. Thank you for creating.
I agree with the many people who say the lines will be less stressful. I'd do that and then at the end of the month if you really want the petal look flesh them out into petals on the final day. 🌼
If it isn't too much stress, I would love a video describing how you planned your big move/decided on where to go! This is something I've been thinking about for a looooong while, and I feel like it would be very helpful! Good luck, and I hope it isn't too overwhelming!
I would go with petals because it would keep looking like sunflowers Lines will look like the sun And if looking like the sun is good then lines are good too If either one is equally as easy then I would choose the one that stays with the theme the most
In the beginning of the year, I did a open when layout, with emotions like angry, hopeless, sad, lonely, suicidal and on periods. I write a tiny quote and few actionables :)
I much prefer the simple lines to the flower petals - it looks a little bit more intentional and less messy. Plus it'll be easier to stick with since you'll just be drawing a straight line and not having to worry about how it looks.
I think the line are better because they would be easier to read and analyse, and therefore, it will be easier to know when to act on your stress 🌼 I use to track my stress in the same graph as my productivity to see if there is a connection in between the both (could also be done with sleep, etc)
Idea: as a compromise do the lines but use a thicker white pen so that you have kind of a petal shape but its really easy to create. I think it could look nice 🌼
i like the lines for the tracker personally, both as a nice little variation in style/texture to keep the general aesthetic more interesting as well as it being much easier to read and manage than petal shapes which might get more confusing as they overlap and such. i love this theme though! daisies are underrated, and the kraft paper is a great way to really complement them and add even more personality. 🌼
Even if the petals are fitting the theme better I some how really like the lines. I feel it looks a bit like a sun in a magical drawing I would love that.❤️🌻🌻🌻
I love the way you mixed the brown craft paper into your spreads. The idea of putting a list of activities to pick from at the end to de-stress is a great idea. 🌼
For me journaling helps. Not bullet journaling necessarily as I've never done one and am exploring the idea of trying one right now but also classic journaling. It brings me some peace. Thank you for the video. 🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻
I think lines are easier to do to everyday and if you really want the look you can always go back and paint the petals to the same length in the end. 🌻
Daisies are one of my favorite flowers (I have a few favorites though), and I even have one tattooed on my arm/shoulder. This spread is so gorgeous and calming. Love it.
I love this setup, first off. I will say that for pretty much the first time I did a botanical theme for my journal in April, and so the part where you said "just go for it, don't overthink" really spoke to me. I think you should do petals for your tracker. I know lines may be easier, but when (if) you look back the petals would be nicer. If there is stress about the gouache aspect, you could always use a white acrylograph to mark out the petals! I haven't really found any good methods for coping with my anxiety, especially during an attack. But when I feel my anxiety ramping up, I try to meditate, focus on my breathing, and grab a floof - in my case, a teddy bear. If it is peripheral stress, I actually like flipping through my journals. I have certain months I specifically avoid, but in general I like looking at them for self-assurance of my own capabilities. 🌼🌼
Daisy stress tracker suits the calendar better, I think. The two pages are more cohesive. I actually like the lines better but am looking at the spread over both pages.
The petals pop more than the lines. Vote petals❤️👍🌻. I like daisies. Of course my namesake .I have some perennials in my garden, but every year get annuals to put in my pots
I love the Kraft paper daisy theme. I think the petals on the stress tracker would look great. I love all of you Bujo themes but this is one that my favorite.
Petals would be more pleasant to the eye. However, lines would be less stressful. Whatever would benefit you and keep you less overwhelmed. You can't go wrong with either.🌻
🌼 I love love love the font you used for days of the week and headlines on the last page. And as for dealing with stress for me it is colouring in a colouring book and journalling and letting my thoughts go (journalling entry can also help working through the situation with a therapist some days later). Grounding techniques were also really helpful (for example, finding and focusing on 5 things you can see, 4 things you can hear, 3 things you can touch, 2 things you can smell and one good thing in you that you can think of, all while deeply breathing).
Beautiful!! 🌻 for the stress tracker... I think lines are easier but they feel more like a sun, petals will match the flower look but it depends on what you want most both in appearance and execution. Knitting while listening to a nice audio book helps me find calm, but dancing to up beat music helps me work out the stress.
🌸 I think the petal option of the stress tracker looked great, but since you are tracking stress, maybe the line option would be easier for those super stressed days. This is a beautiful set up.
For the tracker you could always start with lines and if at the end Iof the month you're feeling it needs more then you could turn the lines into petals. I'm big for start low or less because you can usually go bigger but you can rarely go smaller once started 🌼🌼
🌼 Beautiful flowers, beautiful theme and gorgeous spreads. As for the stress tracker, the petals would look absolutely amazing, yet the lines are also very stylish and they would be more sustainable ... for me, at least.
Wonderful! The petals suit better but I'd probably do the lines for less stress. You could always go over them later if they don't look right. I find listening to music helps. I used to listen to music every day on the bus in high school but now that I'm out I kind of forget about it for awhile. When I "rediscover" my favourites it seems to make a difference in my mood.
I love the golden highlights, and I really like the idea of using petals for the stress tracker. I think they might tie into the daisy theme a bit better than the radiating beams. 🌼
Absolutely pretty 🌼🌼 i find that art really calms me down. If you don’t paint everyday try to draw one little thing every day, that helps a lot with my stress levels !
🌼 love the daisies, you make them seem so simple to paint. I should try it sometime. The petals for the stress tracker would be more aesthetic, but the lines less stresful. Make your life as easy as possible and only as hard as neccesary, leve room to enjoy.
Lines would be less stressful, but petals would give you a creative outlet, which is a stress reducer. ... maybe put the lines each day as you are recording your stress level in pencil, then once a week change the lines to petals as your creative project for the week. ... I think it would be difficult to pull out your paints every day to do the petals. 💖🌞🌵😷
Thanks for another great video. Life can be stressful if we don’t have calming techniques and yours are wonderful suggestions. I’d simply add meditation, including guided meditation. 🌸
For stress tracker make it something in between a petal and a line so you can still see individual days but it's thicker so when it's all done it looks like petals but they aren't blended in together.
If I were to track my stress or anxiety levels, I'd have a hard time knowing the scale of it. Especially my stress, I never notice it either so it's hard to track let alone take better care of it. But when I do get a mild to extreme anxiety attacks, I try to remind myself to breathe in and out slowly. I often lay down on my bed, holding a big Bakugou plush of mine while listening to lofi. Most of the time it's ones with rain in it, or sometimes I take a small nap to recover from it 🌼
I like the look of the petals more, but the question is which would you be more likely to keep up with and not feel MORE stressed. The lines make it look like a sunshine which flowers also need. You could even use gold lines and call it a sun.
Beautiful theme and details 💚💛🤍 Daisies are one of my favourite flowers and I was so happy when I saw these little cuties for the first time in my parents garden 🌼 for your stress tracker ... I prefer petals, but it's really up to you and what makes you more happy and relaxed 😊
The petals would definitely look prettier, but for purposes of looking at your data points (which is why we track things anyway), the lines would probably be easier to use. 🌼🌼🌼
I know if I were at anything above a 5 in stress, I would not want to pull out paint and try to make a petal. I do think you could do lines each day, and then at the end of the month go back and make petals over them, as they do look really pretty.

@@PlantBasedBride no, this link is not working
I think the lines would, fittingly, be less stressful in the long run. 🌼
I think you might be right 🤔
I agree
Exactly what I was going to comment :)
I was going to say petals would suit better, but then I read this comment and whole heartedly agree.
I was going to say the same 🌼
I love that your cat turns up the moment you said 'black accents' like "let's see how good I look with your layout'
Haha Yoda has a great instinct for timing and she loves attention 😂

I didn’t know what cross-stitching was so I had to search it up. It looks really cool though, kind of like pixel art but with textiles! I’m excited to look into it more. Definitely petals
When I am stressed I crochet and listen to an audiobook. Best of both worlds :)

I was going to write the same thing
That’s such a good idea 😍

Those daisies are incredibly lifelike and vibrant against the kraft paper.

Maybe do the lines first (less stress) then cover with petals at the end of the month to get a better idea of how you felt? As a kind of recap/review. The petals look exceptionally pretty, but as others have pointed out, the lines are probably going to be less stressful as you go.
Daisies are my favourite, they always make me smile 🌼
I like them both. To me the line look more like a sun. I would use the lines as a starting point and at the end of the month, I would turn them in to pettles. That way you can reflect on the month and think about what helpt when you where stressed to calm your nerves. 🌼
That’s a great idea!
I hope you feel better soon ❤️ I am so glad my videos can give you some peace during a difficult time ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you. I appreciate that. I also like the ray of lines for the stress tracker, more on the minimal side, which feels less stressful. ✨
I agree with the many people who say the lines will be less stressful. I'd do that and then at the end of the month if you really want the petal look flesh them out into petals on the final day. 🌼
Everything I love in one monthly set up. Daisies, crafting paper and stress management. I love it.
If it isn't too much stress, I would love a video describing how you planned your big move/decided on where to go! This is something I've been thinking about for a looooong while, and I feel like it would be very helpful! Good luck, and I hope it isn't too overwhelming!
I would go with petals because it would keep looking like sunflowers
Lines will look like the sun
And if looking like the sun is good then lines are good too
If either one is equally as easy then I would choose the one that stays with the theme the most
In the beginning of the year, I did a open when layout, with emotions like angry, hopeless, sad, lonely, suicidal and on periods. I write a tiny quote and few actionables :)
I much prefer the simple lines to the flower petals - it looks a little bit more intentional and less messy. Plus it'll be easier to stick with since you'll just be drawing a straight line and not having to worry about how it looks.
I think the line are better because they would be easier to read and analyse, and therefore, it will be easier to know when to act on your stress 🌼
I use to track my stress in the same graph as my productivity to see if there is a connection in between the both (could also be done with sleep, etc)
Idea: as a compromise do the lines but use a thicker white pen so that you have kind of a petal shape but its really easy to create. I think it could look nice 🌼
I feel like, daisies on kraft paper is so natural. I have a kraft paper journal in which I had also done white daisy type flowers (many) years ago!! 🌻
🌼 Petals all the way in the stress tracker. Maybe as a time saver, add them in as a straight line for a week at a time and then paint them out.
i like the lines for the tracker personally, both as a nice little variation in style/texture to keep the general aesthetic more interesting as well as it being much easier to read and manage than petal shapes which might get more confusing as they overlap and such. i love this theme though! daisies are underrated, and the kraft paper is a great way to really complement them and add even more personality.
Thank you! 🤗
For me journaling helps. Not bullet journaling necessarily as I've never done one and am exploring the idea of trying one right now but also classic journaling. It brings me some peace. Thank you for the video.
🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻
I like the lines for the stress tracker. For me, it would be easier to assess my stress that way than with the petals.
I think lines are easier to do to everyday and if you really want the look you can always go back and paint the petals to the same length in the end. 🌻
I love daisies! Might have to try and recreate this one. 🌺
I can't wait to see what you do with it! ❤
Daisies are one of my favorite flowers (I have a few favorites though), and I even have one tattooed on my arm/shoulder. This spread is so gorgeous and calming. Love it.
Such a beautiful theme! I love the daisies ☺️ and my vote is for the lines because it could be the sun shinning on the flowers 🌼🌻
Loved the setup......Using Kraft paper was a good idea....I really wanted to see you do a floral theme!
I think the lines will be more simple and elegant on the stress tracker 🌼
For the stress tracker, I prefer the petals. It looks more complete.
Thanks so much 😊
I personally think petals would look best but also am a fan of people doing what works for them in their journals. 🌼🌼🌼
Beautiful!! 🌻
for the stress tracker...
I love daisies so much that I even named my daughter Daisy. It is also a family name.💚💚💚
For the tracker you could always start with lines and if at the end Iof the month you're feeling it needs more then you could turn the lines into petals. I'm big for start low or less because you can usually go bigger but you can rarely go smaller once started 🌼🌼
🌹 pedals for the stress teacher. The lines look more like a sun
🌼 Beautiful flowers, beautiful theme and gorgeous spreads. As for the stress tracker, the petals would look absolutely amazing, yet the lines are also very stylish and they would be more sustainable ... for me, at least.
Looking at this makes me reminds me how I ate daisies as a young child. I still remember the taste.
I feel the same! Music has so much power ❤
I love the golden highlights, and I really like the idea of using petals for the stress tracker. I think they might tie into the daisy theme a bit better than the radiating beams. 🌼
I was so happy with how the gold highlights turned out! 💛
Thank you so much 😊 That sounds beautiful!
The petals would definitely look prettier, but for purposes of looking at your data points (which is why we track things anyway), the lines would probably be easier to use. 🌼🌼🌼
Good point!
I know if I were at anything above a 5 in stress, I would not want to pull out paint and try to make a petal. I do think you could do lines each day, and then at the end of the month go back and make petals over them, as they do look really pretty.
I think on the stress tracker the lines would be more informative but the petals would look more visually pleasing, so it depends what you want🤔 🌺
If you glue both sides of the paper it will help with the buckling as the paper dries.
I like the lines better but I think the petal shapes match the theme better. 🌼
i think lines cause then it looks like the sun shinning on the flowers (even though its for measuring stress )
Girl I loveeeee that outfit! 🌼
Thank you! All secondhand/thrifted ❤
I think petal shapes will look better on your stress tracker.
The theme and spreads are beautiful as always. You're incredibly talented 💜
