But this is a concert performance, where people came to see Dimash, where everyone expects from him these high notes, and long notes, and super low notes and in general everything that only he can give out. And he gives out! exactly what everyone expects of him. By the way, initially he intended to take a note one octave lower, in the 7th octave, he had done this with this song before. On Singer he did not succeed, but in Gakku he did, but an octave higher😀. these are the rebellious whistle notes.
If I could do this I would be ordering pizza and hitting high notes, so unnecessary a matter of opinions. Mariah Carey sings like a dolphin everywhere.

Dicodec I thought it was quite impressive to add that D8. Why not? It seems to me that he just substituted that note with the D8 when the mic failed or he simply missed the note that he originally planned to sing. So, Dimash hits the D8 instead. It’s all fine with me . I love this performance. It’s so intriguing to watch and hear him, and yes the D8 too. Nice reaction as always. What vocals and what stage presence Dimash has. He’s just unbelievable in so many ways.

Sometimes he knows his high notes don’t feel great to him that day, so he will improvise some of the most beautiful notes you’ve ever heard instead. Sometimes (like this) he knows his high notes feel great, but for some reason that G7 just didn’t come out. Dimash thinks, “Stupid note, what’s wrong with you? Let’s think…what is the highest whistle note anyone’s ever performed in a live concert? C8? Let’s do that instead…sings C8 note…feels great…let’s slide it up to a D8…still feels great…let’s sustain it…yep, good…now let’s add a little vibrato…HAPPY!” He’s happy, we’re happy.

It wasn't planned. He wanted to go for a lower whistle note, but something went wrong and eventually this came out. My favorite versions are the last ones - from the Kiev concert and the Digital Show, and the Singer just behind. They are crazy emotional. In this version he is just chilling and connecting with funs, which is also nice.
I don't think it was necessary, but I do think it was just him just wanting to put everything single thing he had out there for the people who came to see him. And I adore that about him. ❤
He sang that high note to prove to certain doubters that he could and he did now no more saying that he uses what ever to do it. Also, he moves the mic in front of his mouth before the high note to prove it is a live thought or track rather.

I like both versions. The Singer version ist more emotional and the Gakku version ist more spectacular. So it ist up to one' s mood which one you want to listen to. You can' t choose the wrong version because it is DIMASH.

The Singer version is an overall more emotional and higher quality production and composition. To me it is a masterpiece. But this has its charm and the D8 is simply an epic Dimash moment... and that is saying something considering that Dimash = epic!
Why did he go that high/Was it necessary? -- As performers, you guys should know that sometimes it's about giving back to the fans. The high notes are what they love and the higher he goes, the more they lose their minds. I'd call that one a "I feel like I can do it right now and the fans would love it so here I go." BOOP!🎶 And you might have noticed he failed on his first try (which is why no sound came out for a couple seconds there. but he tried for the C8 first then slid up to the D8.).

Why did he do that? Simple answer is bc he can. Most UD versions have whistle notes at the exact place, this one just came out higher than others. No big deal, it's Dimash🤗.
I love that the headphones came off!!! People speculate that Dimash takes the earpiece out so he can hear the ambient sounds of the crowd. Clearly he doesn't want to blow out his eardrums with the sound his voice is capable of creating.
Yeah..that note wasn't on purpose..he tried to go for the right one first and it wouldn't come out and then he kinda let lose I guess...my favourite version is the one from the emei mountain music festival tho...rain pouring, equipment problems, you can hear his voice shake a little from the cold..but he just gives his all..it kinda makes him more "real", if you know what I mean. Real is probably the wrong word...but I can't think of a better one right now, so it will do.

When he was waving with the mic and there is no sound he missed the note g7 and after that he hit d8 instead. He probably lost the control over his voice for the moment.
Interesting way, how to fix the mic. Call a delphin for help by D8 😁 But I agree it wasn't definitely planed note, it doesn't cope with the song arrangement. And this is not Dimash's style to overwhelmed the listeners by this type of sound.
If you have a very good set of headphones or really good speakers, if you listen close, you can hear a faint sound of the G7 when he's waiving his mic.

Why did he go that high/Was it necessary? -- As performers, you guys should know that sometimes it's about giving back to the fans. The high notes are what they love and the higher he goes, the more they lose their minds. I'd call that one a "I feel like I can do it right now and the fans would love it so here I go." BOOP!🎶 And you might have noticed he failed on his first try (which is why no sound came out for a couple seconds there. but he tried for the C8 first then slid up to the D8.).

I love that the headphones came off!!! People speculate that Dimash takes the earpiece out so he can hear the ambient sounds of the crowd. Clearly he doesn't want to blow out his eardrums with the sound his voice is capable of creating.

Yeah..that note wasn't on purpose..he tried to go for the right one first and it wouldn't come out and then he kinda let lose I guess...my favourite version is the one from the emei mountain music festival tho...rain pouring, equipment problems, you can hear his voice shake a little from the cold..but he just gives his all..it kinda makes him more "real", if you know what I mean.
Real is probably the wrong word...but I can't think of a better one right now, so it will do.

When he was waving with the mic and there is no sound he missed the note g7 and after that he hit d8 instead. He probably lost the control over his voice for the moment.

Interesting way, how to fix the mic. Call a delphin for help by D8 😁 But I agree it wasn't definitely planed note, it doesn't cope with the song arrangement. And this is not Dimash's style to overwhelmed the listeners by this type of sound.
If you have a very good set of headphones or really good speakers, if you listen close, you can hear a faint sound of the G7 when he's waiving his mic.
