These ignition switches were Rick Wagner specials. When you put a former CFO in as a CEO of a auto corporation, they try to cut corners just to save "pennies."
Same thing is happening with Dodge/Chrysler vehicles, Challengers, Chargers and other models a lot of people have been complaining bout this cars shutting off while driving, making a turn or slowing down to a stop. Why is nobody looking at this problem? I have put a complaint to NHTSA so have many other people who owns this cars and so far nothing, not a word from Dodge/Chrysler.
They have push button start and before that just a fob that was not something that could be bumped to turn car off. I have an 03 chrysler and the ignition is sorta hard to turn.

Every time committee asked her question, she kept saying I cannot answer any questions at that point of time.
I would never buy a GM car again. Out of five cars i owned, only one was GM. I would never buy a GM again.
