I don't know what these guys were taking when they wrote these songs. It's like they've made a link between heaven and hell. This song is so powerful and cruel it's almost suffocating, but somehow it's also liberating, and yet there's none of the evil that's present in Barbie Girl and all the cheesy shit from that period.
@@springbloom5940 first 2 albums are incredible. Everything that follows is shit though. Dismember, grave and unleashed all have an overall better catalog of albums imo. None of them top entombed at their peak though. At the gates are easily the best and most consistently great swedish death band. Edge of sanity is another favorite of mine.
@@springbloom5940 i like the haunted too. Bjorler bros and erlandsson are great of course. At the gates are my favorite because Tompa is far and away my favorite death metal vocalist.
Their Death peaked with this album and Crawl was my favourite song for many years. The more punk style that came in the following album Wolverine Blues, took a while to get used to, and LG Petrov can't sing
@@christer8964 I love this and Left Hand Path and a lot of the death'n'roll albums too, but I disagree about the vocals. Lars is a better singer than this guy (drummer Nick Anderson if I'm not mistaken).
@@shannonkinney6967 Ohh! And about the vocals. It is Johnny Dordeviĉ as lead singer, backed up by Nicke Andersson. You can clearly here it the song Living Dead. Nicke Andersson is more than half Entombed. And he started other bands that also got big. He is extremely talent. For me Lars voice is a one tone vocal and made the band more boring. They changed their style toward some sort of death-punk style. Some really good songs but I felt they really lost something when Nicke continued with other bands.
@@christer8964 actually it's Nicke singing on the whole record, Johnny didn't even record anything on this he was just a tour singer (and damn, he sucks); unpopular opinion, i liked more the Nicke vocals over the LG'S, both are amazing but Nicke just killed it in Clandestine at composition, vocals and drums!!
The Vocalist killed this album for me. He sounded like how when some schmuck is trying to make fun of death metal vocals does vocals when making fun of death metal vocals....
WTF, seriously!!! Read the lyrics. Listen to the soul crushing reality of this song, then you sing it! The kid was 18 at the time. Likely 16 when they formed. Who the fuck gets death metal at this age, like this kid, and while you're in high school listening to 80's bands he's fronting one of the historic greats of death metal!
This was all I listened to when I was 15. Nothing has ever compared to how hard this is.
I was 16, but likewise!
❤🏴🙋♀️
i was 16 too.clandestine-best of ever
the best death metal album ever!!!
absofuckinglutely!!!!! AGREED!
And the best death metal band EVER!
❤😂🏴🙋♀️🍻

Mean and fukn Heavy Dude!!!! One of the best Death Albums ever created...
Da guitar go and fuck yrself

I really love on how they do the ending!
"Something i can't deny" is how fucking good this song and album is!
Entombed, Dismember, Unleashed, Edge of Sanity, Amorphis, Death, Brutality, Grave, were the early 90s best imo!!
And correctly listed, everything after Entombed, was a pale knockoff.

At the Gates was good, but I kinda like the Haunted better.

Awesome tune 🎸
Everything you'd expect from the best death metal band music album and song to be all in one...ENTOMBED KILLS IT SICK AUGHHHH...😝😝😝
Amazing song and album!! Entombed at its best

i my version i added the begginning of the 91 version to this awesomeness
Greatest DM album of all time.
Awesome song 😈
RELENTLESS BRILLIANCE.

" CRAWLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL ... "
Corrosive poison transmuted into sound
Songs of Gods
No tiene comparación con la del ep pero es magnífica ♥️🇻🇪
The EP version was way better mixed.

This album isn't that good imo. Left hand was way better.
