Unless you are unequivocally guilty there is no point in exercising the following rights: 1. You have a right to conduct discovery on the police officers personnel file for any history of misconduct, acts of dishonesty or whatever the case may be. 2. Regardless of age, you have a right to stay silent period. 3. You have a right to request to be released on your own recognizance so long you appear to all your hearings (depending on your criminal history record) in lieu of posting bail. 4. You have a right to confront and cross examine all witness testifying against you (in other words, your chance to discredit their credibility as a witness). 5. You have a right to represent your own self (which I highly advise to do) however, most states encourage to obtain representation especially if you're facing a felony charge because apparently the rules that govern each state's criminal procedures are complicated but they really are not (they just taunt you with that to scare you). 6. You have a right to request copies of transcripts to all your oral proceedings. 7. And for those who sue in civil court, you have a right to have all your court fees waived only if you could show that you are unable to pay. 8. You have a right to record everything with your own devices (just make sure you inform and invoke your right first otherwise it will be inadmissible and you could face unnecessary charges so make sure to do it right). There's so many more rights I wish I could share but my time is limited and I have to get back to my law reading and homework. Take care everyone! and always record them!!
This can be good. But got to be better training for people to learn and train to believe in themselves, not all This antony approved to be honest. I believe there is usually a catch. I was raised a special needs. People thought we had different understanding. My feelings are not different from anyone else of what is trying, and I am learning from our mistakes. It takes more time to train people. Sadly, people don't have times and am patient for it.
Ok I know it's only an example but why was the owner of the iPad store so harsh? 😂 I mean he could have just asked Henry politely to give him the iPad back which would help Henry realise he had accidentally taken it. Then Henry would give it back and that would be the end of it 😭
@@kimdem7255 It's not about that; its about understanding ur rights. Besides, one bad cop can illegally put criminal evidence in ur phone. Trusting everyone is naive
i mean at 14 you should honestly know that they are not that dumb and how does it occur to somebody to take the ipad out of the store like they have a conscience and are aware the kid was looking at the ipad screen and just walked out the door without looking infront of him i think he just forgot honestly maybe he thought it was his ipad or he was in his house or something
Why don't you explain to Henry why it is sometimes "necessary" to falsify transcripts in felony court cases? Without any objection raised, without any motion made citing no grounds and with no ruling rendered the record gets changed. Words, phrases, sentences and whole exchanges may be inserted or deleted. Thi is done absent the knowledge or consent of the defendant, jury or public. Where is the consent of the governed in this? Let me employ a lawyer's trick: "Never ask a question you don't know the answer to." Why is this done? I won't ask what it means. Let's hear how you explain it to Henry.

it’s overall uncomfortable to go though this
what’s wrong with admitting if the police would already know?
