    Her assumption that people without EDs don't think about food outside of meal times is so incredibly blind. Hundreds of millions who deal with food insecurity think about food all the time, specifically where they're going to get enough of it.

Self love, self awareness and stopping the cycle of self loathing is what has helped me. But I know I’m never cured even when I’m perfectly abstinent, I’m one meal or food item away from spiraling. I have a food addiction and binge eating disorder and I've had a really serious relapse with it and I've regained all of the weight I'd spent two years losing in a scary fast amount of time. I'm working so hard on starting with self compassion and exercise because first of all i just need to not end up like Foodie. These videos showcase how much mobility she lost in such a short amount of time. I refuse to let my muscles atrophy. The weight loss will be addressed with my therapist because yes, unlike Foodie, I've been in therapy for almost five years...

I lost 120 pounds in a year and I stayed on my diet, even after a binge night or a cheat day. It works - just believe in yourself! (As for exercise, the best thing you can do is walk, walk, walk. They way she can't look directly in the camera is disturbing. That first clip that is continued a little later is especially bad - her eyes are darting all over the place, and she only actually looks in the camera for a few seconds total. It is annoying how she talks about how hard everything is and how exhausted she is from trying to be healthy when she has barely done anything at all. I don't believe the majority of her behavior is due to an ED, I believe she is lazy and gluttonous and likes living this way.

    • @digitalhuman5943
      @digitalhuman5943 9 дней назад +9

      I don’t know if it’s an ED, but there’s definitely something in her brain that makes her do the opposite of what she should be doing. She avoids any kind of accountability or responsibility, when ever she recognizes something’s good for her she gets tired of it and moves on, and whenever there’s the chance something could be self destructive she barrels towards it!

    She's always so nostalgic about Canada when she's not there.
    Her face is so different than it was a year ago.
    (OT but relevant to me: so does my face. In Nov 23, my face looked awful, like hers almost. I had my driver's license pic taken and it drove it home. Now I'm almost 100 lbs down, I have at least 2 fewer chins, my jowls are disappearing, my checkbones are emerging. Because I'm also 62, I look a little "droopier" than I would have had I done this when younger. I DON'T CARE. I'm taking care of myself.)
    I wonder if Foodie will take care of herself in 2025? Not making any bets on it though.
    I wonder if Foodie will get a new blood sugar monitor?
    I wonder if she'll use it?
    I wonder if she'll end up in the hospital for an extended stay?
    And she wonders why we watch.

    FB is under the false impression that avoiding certain foods is deprivation, but it empowers recovery. Many people have lost weight that gave up highly processed foods, refined carbs, and sugary foods. Sansa I have not watched FB for too long, do you know if she ever tried the approach of only whole foods for 30,60 days? Her brain is literally hijacked at this point, IMO she needs to eliminate certain foods.

    • @digitalhuman5943
      @digitalhuman5943 9 дней назад +3

      You’re 💯 right! I don’t understand how she keeps forgetting her triggers. She does better longer when the food is not in the house, but she does have anxiety around avoiding it, but it doesn’t compare to the anxiety she gets when she gives in and says she can have this one thing, and she’s insecure about having it because she knows once she eats it, it will be gone, so she needs more, and she’s just in this cycle of eating chips, ice cream, and treats and feeling insecure about finishing her snacks and then eating her husbands, just to turn around and give up all together and binge in the open.
      Even if she started focusing on eating nutritious meals focused on fiber and satiation she’d snack less, but when she was doing that she was literally anxious about the junk food she couldn’t fill up on and stopped including veggies with her meals so she could focus on the foods she’s supposed to avoid or cut down on.

      Her Whole Foods approach only lasts a day or two just like everything else.

    • @graciegee6317
      @graciegee6317 8 дней назад +2

      The problem is, she doesn't WANT to change. She wants her health, mobility & weight to be magically cured, but she's simply not prepared to do the hard yards & work at it - she's a glutton & loves gorging herself too much, to actually stop the bad eating habits.
      She knows exactly what to do, she just doesn't want to. The supposed 'diagnosis' of an eating disorder is literally a 'get out a jail free' card for her. It makes her a "helpless victim" and that it's all outside of her control, that she's incapable of addressing.
      And she has a ridiculous notion that the other people who control their eating, don't have challenges & cravings, like she's the only one in the world who suffers in that way. Agreed, many people are able to maintain a normal weight without much effort, but a huge number of folks struggle every day & work hard at maintaining control, it's a constant battle, but it's a battle people are prepared to have, to avoid incapacities that Foodie now has.

    • @digitalhuman5943
      @digitalhuman5943 8 дней назад +1

      @ love this! No she doesn’t want to change, but I think it goes beyond her health. Her size is a scapegoat goat for all her problems. She makes the worst decisions, she doesn’t plan or think ahead or even consider how her words or actions will affect her in the future, and her selfishness negatively impacts everyone around her.
      When she starts a health arch no one can tell her what to do cus she knows everything already, and then she starts undermining her efforts with cheat meals and treats because she needs to avoid binging, but then ends up binging anyway.
      She doesn’t know how to make meals she wants to eat that align with the diet her doctor wants her on.
      And her mentality around food is completely screwed up, she assigns her mental health according to to what food she can eat. She’s depressed by eating healthy, she’s anxious about getting to have treats, she thinks it’s cool to eat chips and only losers eat apples with their lunch.
      Normal people consider what they need to eat to get through the day, what food they have access to, what is going to give them the energy they need, and yes normal people comfort eat too, just not every single meal! What’s sad is what Chantal considers a healthy meal is a pretty average meal and even her version is low on green vegetables, while still pretty high is sodium, carbs a d fat. And when she eats comfort food she tends to binge to make that comfort last as long as possible.
      I think her reliance on food is part of a greater emotional symptom, she lacks the ability to form meaningful connections with people, she’s starved for physical touch, and she self soothes with her cat, food, and substances.

      There is speculation that Salah is on the spectrum. So, having a very narrow interest, only playing one very specific song, matches with that speculation.

    Thank you Sansa for such a great wrap up to an incredible year of content! Your channel has helped me immensely - I semi-recently started working as an in-home care aide, and I work with a lot of diabetic and obese clients. The amount of knowledge I have gained from your videos has really made me a better caregiver, especially when I cook and shop for them. The number of people I’ve encountered that have no idea how much sodium is in pretty much every processed food items … you are bettering lives through your content. Happy new year, can’t wait to see what you get up to next 🎉

    It’s been a nosedive into depravity ever since Bibi broke free from her oppressive evil. Someone/thing was definitely looking out for him, his family and their future. Chantal destroys everything in her path.
