Mainly because I perfer their design, ambiance, soundtrack and puzzles. One third might be blessings but that's also a problem BoTW had, ToTK at least fixes the combat shrines by making them all different, giving you an opportunity to learn new ways to defeat your enemies.

Breath of the Wild is the Best for me the Shrines are much better TotK was too fast for me
