"Everyone is stockpiling armies until a war breaks out, and then the world ends" Cograts! You summarized the entirety of the warhammer fantady lore in one sentence.
Its funny that you made your banner look like actual Warhammer fantasy army banner. Red hand on white canvas is a banner of Great Green Prophet, he is a Savage Orc Greenskin Shaman
"I dont want to learn tactics so I lined a bunch of guys up with guns and shot into the calvary"... This is... exactly how you counter calvary. Guns. That is the tactic.

@bad-people6510 I wonder how they lasted that long tbh, the English showed time and time again in the 100 years war how effective archers were against......Well basically anything. They were the OP build until the horse archer meta cane along.
Fun history fact re 5:10 Guns didn't actually outperform swords and bows on the battlefield all that much. In many ways, they were worse. Before the invention and standardization of cartridges, they took quite a long time to reload, and before the invention of smokeless gunpowder, they got fouled up quite quickly and started malfunctioning. That is why swords and bayonets still saw a lot of use well into the first world war. The main advantage that firearms had over bow and sword was that they required a lot less training to use and you could much more efficiently take advantage of increasing population numbers and industrialization. To use a bow proficiently requires years of training and building muscle. To use a firearm, requires weeks to months. You can also standardize them a lot easier, making logistics and supply trains easier to manage (depends). And if you are forced into a close combat situation or your firearm is no longer usable, you can turn it into an effective spear by affixing a bayonet. Spears, likewise, are also fairly simple in their use. Firearms didn't overtake medieval weaponry because they were necessarily better, they did it because they easily allowed nations to take advantage of the population dynamics at the time.
This is so absolutely wrong, its almost funny. Sword and bow (and even crossbow) lost every time against firearms. Ask the cavalry when their downfall began. Cartridges where a big boon for firearms, but saying that a common infantry men or even cavalry could win anything against a small group of semi-decent trained musket or even rifle carrying men is laughable.
@@alexanderliebscher3472 Hm yes, funny how cavalry continued to be used long after the introduction of the firearm right up to and into the the first world war. I'm sure generals just loved bankrolling expensive horses and their upkeep for no reason other than to throw them away. Thank you for your wonderful insight.
@@alexanderliebscher3472well considering there was a few hundred firearms on a large army of thousands it is probably not a stretch to say that the main battle was still happening at the frontline and such with spears and maces rather than guns. Until the late 1600s
Calvary can be stopped in there tracks/halt with a spear. forward thrust or center hit direction will do the trick. in the original game . This can most often be used against u in tournaments.
the best way to deal with the enemy cav charges is to have your range troops in a body of water that at least puts them to a crawl stopping their advance and giving the range infantry a clear shot while the melee can take advantage of their slow movement while the archers and musketeers take pod shots, try to avoid doing the bridge tactic you did in the past vid as a necromancer that's better suited after the enemy cav have been delt with and the infantry are advancing. However, if the cav were to still be alive then have your troops on the other side of the bridge having the melee blocking the way on your end and letting the ranged take pod shots at the enemy when they peak over the arch of the bridge and use the water to diswayed any cav from risking taking the path into the water, like fish in a barrel. If water isn't available then put your ranged into a tight circle formation with melee as the bulwark in the outer circle preferably with shields and spears. now as for the grenadier cav having them as a flanking skirmisher retinue in a loose charging line formation as to prevent the 'nades from hitting their fellow cav, it's best to use them on the enemy's rear to minimize friendly fire for the engaging infantry. as for the archer cav, simply take a page from the LOTR Rohan cav archers in two separate groups on the flanks of the main force, if you can't find some way to do it yourself use a mod, someone must've made a VI script to tell the sprites to do it.
During that portal battle, it seems that most of your losses came from friendly fire between troops, then the scary choas knights. at least from what i could tell.
If you want some really broken career perks, start as a priest and get guns either way. After all, Steel, Faith and gunfire is what The Empire of Man and Karl Frqnz are all about. Also, you should be able to buy and use artillery once you complete a buggy quest by the douche engineer of Nuln
Also, check out Vermintide and Vermintide 2 games. If you like this style and wanna see some of these guns (sadly no granade launcher... HUMAN TYPE AT LEAST) in action
Cavalry in Bannerlord has never been counterable for me, even with an entire rank of full tier pikemen. Best i can say is form a circle. It might help. But honestly archers are the only consistent counter. Which, hey, your gunmen count for.
He was fighting beastmen, idk if he knew this but beastmen basically go around the world, killing, raiding, and aggressively conquer lands. So kind of like the English empire in real life.
@AHHHHHHHH_ yeah I'm not sure what else I did, I downloaded the 3 packs for TOR and then the harmony download off ModDB. Make sure you enable the mods and have it in the correct load order too.
You failed the chaos portal as necrmancer? How? Just get 100 of both spear and warrior graveguard line them up shield wall and watch them suffer your AOE spells and graveguard weapons
5:16 "1700 scenario" The mod is clearly based in the early 1500s 5:21 Not a rifle. Rifles have rifling inside the barrel. If anything, it would be a musket or an arquebus.

Still better lore than the actual end times

I thought it may have been a Wheel of Time reference about the Band of the Redhand. They were the first to use cannons in that series

Guns or pikes or guns doubling as pikes
It's not a coincidence cavalry charges didn't last long past the invention of the machinegun.

Well, technically a griffon-foot in WFRP lore.

IRL you also want to make them fight uphill towards you and I'd guess they modeled that in the game as well
Now imagine a wall of shielded spears, plus gunmen on elevated grounds. 🙂↕️🤌
I love how this guy accidentally used actual anti-cavalry tactics
