Yes I was on stage to the left when he first came out to meet the crowd and looked to the left he smiled, that smile was for me and he knew I was doing my video and kept looking g to left gave me the video of a lifetime too ,not living I have all the footage from a different angle and wait for next time

Steel heart is the real band? Not steel dragons?
Yes, Steel Heart was around since the 80s. The singer did vocals for Rock Star and had a couple songs get used as "Steel Dragon" songs. Look up their version of We All Die Young

The problem with becoming an old rocker is you start to become a bit of a cartoon.
Steel dragon did it better
He was the actual singer for this song (and the other ones by Steel Dragon in the movie). As for the band, it's live, those were studio recordings (even though it showed them live) so of course it would be better.
