That you still have as much soul, that you continue to be what you are, what you have always been, shows the man, the entertainer that you were born to be. Thank you for all the music you have gifted us.
My very first Steelheart concert and it was truly AMAZING. Only regret was I didn't do the meet n great, but I've waited 30 years to see these guys. Mili is out of this world. The energy and the passion is SPECTACULAR.
To be able to sing the way you sing now after a career of singing in such a pitch that would destroy anyone's vocal cords.... Mili (Mke)... you are the man brother, and much appreciated!
Hes not a kid anymore. Lol. I love his voice then, and I love it now. It's deeper and richer. He has been working on it. I actually think he sounds pretty damn good.
The first sign of a singer not being able to sing high songs anymore is when you let the crowd sing half of the song! I paid to hear THEM sing songs like this, nit the crowd and I'd honestly want my money back if I went to a show and a singer let the crowd sing half the song, along with starting a song like this acoustically....man fuck that shit! I wanna hear the ALBUM version of a song, that's why a paid for a ticket to see the damn show! I mean hell, Jon Bon Jovi hasn't sang Livin on a Prayer in its original key since 1989 for crying out loud and his voice is SO SHOT!!! Don't get me wrong, I'm not dogging the Steelheart singer, bc God bless him for being able to continue doing what he loves, but just admit you can't sing that, or certain songs anymore, and live with it, bc if you try to sing them live (where you get one shot as opposed to a studio where you can have multiple takes) and sound like shit then its gonna turn off fans. I'm just a believer in cutting through the bullshit; if you can't do it anymore, then accept it and move on. Kind of like aging gracefully and accepting your body can't do certain things anymore which is a reality at 51 I've humbly accepted.
He had an accident which took away his voice for quite some time..he had to again take voice lessons, exercise and bring it back ..its not easy to stand up again and do it. It take courage. Its easy to judge though sitting on a couch and doing nothing
