Bre this is a great video, thank you for sharing! However, I have one question, when I go to bring the pdf in as a background none of my pdfs pop up, it showing as empty. Are you able to help me with this?
Nooooo for online learning, I just see if they tried and if they gave full effort, they get 10/10 points. Online is HARD so I make it easier on myself and my students
The assignment text boxes seem to movable and editable. I don't think it's supposed to be that way. I know that changes made in Google slides get autosaved so I don't get the part about saving it as a jpg but it's inserted as a background image. I did opt out of the extra Powerpoint steps and kept it to Google Slides.

As for the Wonders book, I have a number of electronic copies of Wonders books. I'm looking for the ELL Reproducibles for 5th grade. I also have the one in this video but I like the ELL because it has the vocab illustrations for the words.

If you scan it with the camera from you Google drive on your phone, you can cut out a few steps.

Awe I’m sorry! I saved the PowerPoint as an image which is a jpeg. Then I opened google and added the image (the worksheet) as the background :)

If you have an iPhone you can create documents in Notes and upload directly to Slides,Docs,etc

I can't make a copy for each student. It looks different to me.
Why did you move to ppt? Everything you did can be done in G-slides.
I just moved it to PowerPoint to create a different colored image and just to make the image better for my liking :)

How do students turn it in?
There is an option in google classroom for students to turn in their assignment/work :) There should be a "turn in" button :)
