Admittedly, with the HHR, I'm not a fan, but making a truck version does give it a more usable silhouette. It may not be as useful as a Cheyenne, but it can probably haul some small stuff
I actually looked at a 56 Chevy nomad and it was a true nomad. Somebody in 15 years go cut it up made a pickup out of it. The guy was asking 4500 and technically it did run. I guess it looked all right. I'm looking at a collection of Parts 1500 easily for that tailgate. Anyway the point is the shorts and stubby's. They're all over the field on price. Had died I just didn't go out and buy about 4 years ago 1500 bucks and he called me back cuz man just can't find them bucks you can have it. The fender on the 57 was worth that much beautiful car. But they cut everything including the frame to make it shorter. It's something you don't have to do. He should have put on a set of two doors creme coupe. But he kept the original front two doors of that 4-door. I should have went and bought it. I told somebody else and he went and bought it and turned around and sold it for $8,500. He only took it down the road a little ways. I understand that guy sold it for $12,500. You got to love it I'm glad for them

Stripped Chevy's S10 is the perfect country work beast. Little is best for doing small jobs and bouncing along the backroads. This would work great for wood and brush hauling too.
