As u mention the Tungsten crystal hybrid e emitter , a more complete explanation pls.
When Thermo Fisher supplied the 350 , thy stated a monocrystal of tungsten is coated with Zr02 .. Well that is not possible , so now they state the ZrO2 lump migrates to the tip , which also is not possible at 1800K. So what exactly occurs ? the only way Zr may migrate is by alloying , yet TF specification stated the monocrystal size was 20nm .. perhaps they meant the crystal was polished to approx 20nm .. NEXT is the Schottky
Is this the Zr / W barrier ? as ZrO2 conductivity increases (R ? drops) with temp ?
I have need for Tungsten tips which are single crystal .. where can i buy 500 needles ?
This is the supposition : the reduction in work function from Zr comes from monolayers of Zr covering the entire emitter. The large agglomeration of Zr in the middle of the tip acts a s a reservoir to replenish any evaporated sites of Zr ..
Zr is NOT going to migrate at 1800K unless alloyed .. and why not plasma assist ALD coating fresh within an dual beam instrument

If I want to assess the structure of cement concrete, I will have to dehydrate the samples, which indicates that I am going to visualize the structure without the important hydration products such as CSH (calcium silicate hydrate) and CH (calcium hydroxide). Don't you think it does not portray a good message in the field of concrete or cement. (Nevertheless, if you search about SEM of cement- or concrete-based samples, you will come across a myriad of papers incorporating SEM testing of these products.)
