I lost my daughter on Valentine's Day, 2014. Life is not the same. But at the 10-year mark, my grief transitioned to expectancy - of seeing my sweet girl again. That has released me, and I call it, "standing differently." My daughter does send me signs when she is close. I believe God allows that. And those signs kept me standing for a decade. Standing differently helps me realize that we shall soon see each other again. I am a Christian, she was a Christian - our heavenly reunion is very soon.

I sooo understand the grief of losing a child. I lost my oldest daughter in 2018 after suffering from juvenile diabetes for 40yrs. My faith is the only thing that has gotten me through the years following my lose. God bless you girlfriend!

Julie, your daughters spirit is and always will be with you. I too have type I juvenile onset diabetes. I have had it for 42 years. A couple autoimmune conditions now too. It is a struggle, but my mother helped me out greatly. She said from the beginning, she wished she could have taken it from me. And she had it instead . As a mother, please feel at peace and know God's comfort and consolation for you. He wants to share in your sufferings, and to give you the peace 🕊️🌹 that only HE can provide thru Faith in Him. Trust in his sacred heart. He is there. +. 🙏⬆️🕯️🕊️

Reading the comments to all of you that lost children I am so sorry for all the pain & suffering you all had. The reason I love Kimberly is what you see is what you get. Sometimes I live my life through her wishing I had that type of freedom & Independence but at turning 74 this week with a husband with Dementia its not my reality but love watching her kayaking, travels, creates her own adventure daily as she said I'll think what can I do today that will make me happy. Wow. Thank you for your Sunday emails & videos. I love them. Also age naturally with good skin care yep. I have good skin for my age.

I'll smile and keep on walking because I don't like to feel manipulated. That's why I question our government. Too much gaslighting and manipulation for me. Okay we won't got there.🤭😊

This was wonderful!!!!! I had no idea you had other channels. I'll have to go check them out :). My husband died 2 years ago and I have NO interest in meeting another man. I'm 69 and never want to go through that loss again. One year after his death I decided to volunteer for Hospice and that is what I've been doing. I also traveled to France with my daughter and granddaughter not too long ago and thoroughly enjoyed it. Planning a trip to Italy in two years. These are things I never would have done if my husband was still living. Now, would I rather him still be here?? YES. 100% yes. But since I have no choice in the matter, I'm living the rest of my life as fully as I can. It's refreshing to listen to your thoughts about life and beliefs and you look so content. Good for you! :). xo

If the Caribbean was such a great place to live, you wouldn’t be in the Villages. We are very fortunate to live in the US. Millions of people are coming here illegally because it’s such a great place. They aren’t going to third world countries. Or poor islands.

Hearing you describe California is sadly what Florida is becoming. I have lived here (Central Florida) for over 35 years and I remember a more affordable slower paced Florida. Not any more… unrealistic home prices, outrageous homeowners and property insurance and escalating rent have made Florida very unaffordable for most…. And don’t even get me started on the traffic. It used to take me 20 min to get to work and by the time I retired, it was almost an hour on a good day. I started watching you when you moved to South Carolina and was so envious of your fearless spirit. I so wish I had a bit of that to give me the courage and strength to pack up and move on.

Thank you for sharing your backstory. My 40 year old son, who I didn't see for 9 years (fallout from my ex) returned. We had a wonderful time telling each other "I love you!". We listened to each others, built a garden: it was everything. He died from an undiagnosed heart condition at the end of an entire day together. It has been 6 years come August. I am a psychologist and diligently gave myself space. I had no idea my grief would be over such a long period. This year I can feel I am coming back to the world. I think you known, but I just want to say thank you. Your experence furthur normalized my experience. I feel as though we have had a conversation!

I agree that living in the same area as your daughter might not cause you to spend more time together and it's good that you realize it. We have 3 grown children and the 2 that are married we don't see very often even though they live relatively close to us. We spend more time with the unmarried child who lives out of state because she has more time and is willing to drive to us regularly.

Isn’t it wonderful the freedom that aging gives us? I am very comfortable with myself and my aging body and face. I do all I can do to keep my skin looking great and staying fashionable but I sure don’t lose sleep trying to be something I no longer am.
I’m so sorry that you lost a daughter. It definitely is the worst thing I can imagine as a mother. Another comment on being close to your daughter though she lives in California. My mom lived almost 600 miles from me and I always wished with all my heart that she was closer geographically but she couldn’t have been closer to my heart. She was my best friend and the one who knew me and loved me with no holds barred. Yes, you can be very close in heart and soul never mind if you are close in distance.

You have found yours. I'm so happy to hear your YT channel has played a pivotal part in bringing you back to living your life. May we all be able to find that magic after the loss of a child. You are an inspiration. Never doubt that.

Europe is also very expensive . People think that other country's are cheap to live in but they are only cheap if you have the US money or Euro. I am from Europe and it's so expensive to pay bills food and healthcare . I don't know what countries you lived in but if you want quality life it is expensive no matter where you go. I think a lot of people crossing the borders to get to the US are fleeing their countries because of war, gangs, issues because of climate change- drought, famine…It would take a lot to leave everything, a lot of times in dangerous circumstances, if the circumstances weren’t dire.

Kimberly, I love that you are so opened and raw about yourself. I have one beautiful daughter who is living, yet 5 plus yrs ago she up and moved to Michigan taking my granddaughter whom I was raising. I didn’t know that she left. She has been estranged since. Iam so broken and have been grieving and mourning her even though she is still living. She and I had always been so very close. But her lifestyle is one I cannot condone and that was the ultimatum. Grief is a cruel and mean emotion that for sure takes the life out of us. Thank you so much for your honesty and answering the Assumptions that you received. I am so glad that you have found your Happy Spot in the Villages in Fl. Thank you once again. You have persevered and have become a great U Tube Content Creator and I love that you have so many videos that are all about life and outdoor fun’s and so much more.

Love the assumptions - I found you during the pandemic or end of it. I had the ugh moment when my camera on my phone was turned to me and I thought OMG who’s that old woman. I decided time to try and do something. Your makeup tutorials, and the trials and errors with skincare much appreciated. Bonded with an older woman on YOU she follows you too. She worked at Ulta and was helping me find recommendations. Gardening saved me and I like being outdoors, dog walks or cabin.

Thank you Kimberly. Really enjoyed that back here in the UK. London so expensive nowadays too. We have so many charges just for driving. Took away our freedom quite a bit. Besides that, i love your jumper. So pretty.❤. Luv Kim xx

52 and love your channel! I've been an avid viewer for a couple of years now. I've watched all the videos and have learned a lot. Mostly, I'm inspired by your independence and curiosity to continue learn and grow. And, can I just say wow to all the golf cart traffic in the background! 😂 Thank you for blessing us with you!

Thank you for being so transparent. I love your channel. What helped me through the dark time in my life is my faith. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.
I also have lived in a foreign country…Mexico. I travel a lot. It would be nice to have a community in which we could live in foreign countries…with independence, but also support each other.
We have the same personality. I always try to keep a grateful attitude. You are absolutely beautiful inside and out.
I am not a fan of the media. I love a healthy lifestyle which keeps me out of the doctor’s office. (Wink, wink)
I’m a huge fan of the Holy Spirit.
Again, sorry for your loss. I cannot begin to understand what you went through, but I can have compassion for you. Keep up the great work. And maybe one day we will see each other in Italy or somewhere. Ciou!

I feel like I am picking up what you are putting down in things you have alluded to (even what you were saying about the toxins and whatnot we are being subjected to in your video from today). I’ve watched you from very early on (but only from my tv) and I just subscribed today! Thank you for the work you do here helping us be pretty over 50 (I’m 53).

Hi Kimberly, thank you for inviting us into your life and sharing a little more about yourself! I thank you for your channel and all your at home skincare advice for looking our best as we age! You are looking fresh and fabulous! I'm also loving your hair these days and was wondering if you could do more videos on products or tips for hair thinning since this is something many of us deal with as we get older too. By the way, I LOVE your new channel. I'm into all things spiritual and 'woo woo" too❤

I disagree with you that the US is expensive to live in. It depends what you compare it to. My home country in Northern Europe is so expensive. Every time I visit I wonder how people can afford anything. Several countries in Europe are the same. My standard of living just because the wages are higher and the costs are lower in the US is lot higher than it would be in many other countries. I’m sorry to hear about your daughter. It must be the most difficult life event to go through. You are delightful.

I really enjoyed this video and love the points that you made in the last five minutes. I agree strongly that life is a choice. I am almost 66. After I semi retired (due to a lay off), I went back to work for a large corporation and did NOT like it at all. I realized that I didn’t want the stress and demands that came with it so I dug deep into myself and took a job working in retail that I really enjoy. For now. It made a huge difference in my happiness and I now look forward to getting up every day instead of being filled with dread.

All the comments you mentioned are so very true! You are an inspiration to all of us that watch you, your character, your lifestyle, your independence, your interests, your kindness and spirituality. What I am trying to say is you are incredibly loving, kind person. I am trying to emulate your interesting and active lifestyle. I guess I wish I had your talents and positivity. I too am a bit of a loner and don’t enjoy large crowds. Thank you for your beautiful, informative channel. I am very independent and have a difficult time asking for help. I also am not looking for a best friend because I have a difficult time trusting because of a very difficult childhood. Well I just used this with you when I should’ve talked to a therapist. So very sorry because I had a chance to vent and connect with you. Thank you again for all that you do for your channel.

I understand your reticence about speaking on covid however, right in the community where you live there is a Physician treating over 2000 vax injured patients and others who caught a variant and are also injured by having the once suppressed virus' their bodied overcame reactivated by the spikes in one or more mild variants.
This is real and ongoing. we meet people all the time just walking around the Squares who are suffering.
