Thanks airing and sharing the outstanding video with magnificent ' monsters' locomotives. The unsung ' beasts' the keep the land flowing. Endeavors are preponderating. Bliss
Thank you for another video filled with drone footage of beautiful trains and magnificent scenery! I appreciate the time and effort that you put into capturing these trains and the time you spent producing the final video.
Another marvelous trip along the railroad. The sidebar still photos from postcards you include add a lot of foundation. I walked just about every inch between Winslow and East Defiance, on the Second District and spent a lot of time on the Third. I never thought I would be able to this kind of review when I was at work all those years. But that was then....
@@AcmeCinematography I have a postcard (somewhere) that shows the original interior of the Lamy depot. The old cards really secure the history way back.
That motel seen outside Holbrook ,AZ, must be railfan heaven. Your video was amazing. Thank you for taking the time and pouring your heart into this, because it shows .
Every time you release a video I think to myself "It doesn't get any better than this"...then you release another video and it's better than the last one. Simply stunning work!
Fantastic video once again. Great footage and scenery from this area of the country. Enjoyed watching once again and have a wonderful rest of your Friday.(Steve)
This is one of the two most enjoyable rail fan videos that I've watched. So skillfully produced with obvious enormous investment of time and effort. Excellent! Thank you!
Another impressive work of cinematography I try to schedule my time to view each one in it's without stopping it just amazing THANK YOU SO MUCH !!!!!!!!!!!
Another awesome video! Northern Arizona at it's best. From the Deserts of Eastern AZ to the forests west of Flagstaff. So well done! Video perfection! This is the route of the old passenger trains on the Santa Fe's Transcon Route, the "Super Chief" and the "El Capitan". Now it's the route of Amtrak's Southwest Chief.
Wow! Your series of films are stunning! Your channel name says it all, this is railroad cinematography, not train video. Watching these is a relaxing escape to some of the most beautiful spots in the U.S. that just happen to have a railroad running through them. The time of day, angle of views, color filters, the addition of historical and site descriptions, and the music choice are perfect. This is the absolute gold standard! Thank you for the time, effort, and expense you've gone through to produce these films and posting them for us to enjoy!
Stunned ! Never heard of you before. Saw the trains & clicked while looking for background noise & discovered this. Incredible ! Beautiful music, beautiful photography, perfect editing and informative besides. Never had any interest in visiting Arizona but I do now. Please don't stop making these & thank you !!!
Another Great video from acme, music and all, when the music is not present you can hear the roar of those Warbonnet's which is music to my ear, the name Santa Fe is still on some building's and bridge's which says everything about that railroad, it's still the Santa Fe to most people, deep inside
And have to agree. That is our favorite shot of this particular production. What’s amazing is how close that epic scenery is from downtown Flagstaff. Literally around the corner!
I gotta say; I really like your stuff. Decent mix of both ground and air footage. Drone picture quality is extremely good, as is your control with your flying. I'm disappointed that I never made the jump up to using a drone, but watching yours fixes that!
Much appreciated!!!! Droning has certainly changed railroad photography !!! It certainly is not easy but the results can really change the perspective !!!!
Thanks for doing this segment. I live in Oklahoma and sometimes like to travel to Winslow to the La Posada Harvey Hotel. Because of that and being a railfan, I'm familiar with most of the territory you have covered here. Great stuff, keep it up!!
wirklich schönes Video, danke, ich bin immer sehr interessiert an diesen Inhalten, die ich wirklich sehr nützlich und schön finde, um sie zu sehen und wieder zu sehen 👌
I often drive I-40.... nice to see views other than from the highway.....where R/R diveges from highway wud be nice to know where it is in relation to I-40...."Transcon" I always thought of as a trucking name (Transcon lines) .... nice video AZ and NM alot of beautiful scenery.... Thanks
Ah, my part of the world! The Seligman Sub, Needles to Winslow. I'm sure a few of my trains are on here😂. East of Winslow, it becomes the Gallup Sub to Belen. I'm sure director John Ford would approve of the landscape shots!
This is the first of your outstanding videos I have viewed. Did you make this just for me 😅. Beautiful scenery, wonderful music and trains…..tonic for me soul. Thank you
Great video with some beautiful shots. I'd recommend watching it on mute though so you don't have to listen to the music, its pretty horrible. I really enjoyed the historic information put on the screen throughout.
Soooo much to compliment you on this time: the ground fog shot, the close-ups of La Posada in Winslow and depot in Flag, all the great angles of Diablo. The snow shots are amazing! Question: do you get any icing on the drone props? The long-distance shots from Winslow west dramatically show the number of trucks on I-40. Think how clogged it would be if intermodal trains didn’t exist. Your editing to include details, such as industries and those Route 66 postcards, are great enhancements. Nice catch on the Z WSPPHX going through Williams. Your talent continues to amaze!
My viewing of this presentation got interrupted, and I am now completing my screening of it. Acne never fails to impress! There are four videographers I closely follow, with Acme being the best (by far!).

As a railfan watching from 'across the pond' in England, this is railroading on a truly epic scale! Everything about your video is stunning - the photography, trains, scenery and music. Id love to see a video of yours that covers the Crookton Cutoff portion including Seligman, Audley, Pica, and Yampai. I think it'd really complete a nice Trio of videos for the AZ portion of the route. Love the work you put into these videos, theyre incredible.

That shot at 1:51. My favorite kind of country. Reminds me of my youth. Thank you.
Train watching has always been fun, but now even better when seen from drone at 1080p.
